I’ve really neglected this game. I really like it.

There was some top spin adjacent game that came out not too long ago? I would’ve guessed it was top spin actually. Tennis games can be a lot of fun. I’ve never delved into a more simulation style one though.

I can get through the required content with very little effort, and I am god awful at the game. Def a game that CAN be played casually, though I do feel that since I haven't finished the MSQ I really haven't even started playing the game yet. The story is good, but when you play it back to back to back to back, the mechanics around getting through the story are insanely tedious and boring. 90 percent of it is talk to this person who has very minor context, they want you to do this or take this to this person, that person ends up needing something, oop little battle real quick then back to original person. It really has not evolved much beyond that in all of the expansions. Granted, playing the story straight through is almost certainly NOT the way to approach the game. You should take your time, do side quests, level up the side jobs and all that stuff, go fishing, whatever. But the game makes me feel like I need to do the MSQ first and then engage with that other stuff. (Again, I'm aware that that's not how I should do it, it's just how I feel). There are times where I'm like, wow, this is one of my favorite experiences I've ever had in gaming, and there are other times where I'm like, WTF am I doing with my life. Again for context, I am a low-skill level basic bitch tank who isn't probably playing the game how it should be played.

This is one of my favorite RPGs of all time.

Agreed. They are handling progression well IMO. I played with some higher level players who were making stuff that would be insanely difficult for my normal squad, but it was a mix of A) they had better stuff and B) they knew when and how to use it.

On PSN FF14 does some weird shit in the store especially if you've downloaded it in the past. Maybe it's totally unrelated but it's just another reason the PSN Store is annoying to me. Happens with certain other games too... they really struggle with games that have a lot of DLCs or mildly different versions. It'll say "unavailable" but really it just means "you're gonna have to do a bunch of work to figure this out."

the main series quest is hundreds of hours long and is sort of prerequisite for learning the ins and outs. You can skip it (for a price) but a large appeal of the game is its story which is pretty good after the OG versions of the game. It’s got a wealth of content otherwise though. Tons of jobs to level up (which you can do from the same character), regular special events, the works. Community is really nice and helpful.

This is the most corporate conclusion possible to the current situation at hand.

I think LeBron is sticking up for his son as well as signaling to teams “good things” might happen if they drafted him. He’s obviously overstating how good he is.

A) By "serious rumors" you mean KG said he was on "that new juice" and a bunch of aggregation / click baiters flooded the internet with the same story, then yes. B) There's no reason to take those comments seriously C) I do not think LeBron's legacy would be affected much if he ever tested positive for PEDs. Would it look good for him, of course not. But this is not the 1990s home run battle. I don't think people give that much of a shit anymore. Nobody even remembers that Peyton Manning was accused. Hell I bet you didn't even remember that LeBron has already been investigated in the past for this with the BALCO shit or whatever it was. There aren't many fence sitters on the MJ v LeBron debate anyway. People are so fuckin dug in on that annoying debate. It's so boring.

I bet it can tell you almost step by step how to do it with the exception of getting you the BIOS. I wonder if the BIOS will be the hang up for that as well.

The problem with this discussion is the reasons and means by which people choose to emulate are quite varied. While we might not legally have the right to do certain things, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have that right, especially when it comes to software put out by a company who takes every advantage of its consumers and shuts down old means of access. So if you’re just a fan of law and want it to be withheld for the sake of law and order, I guess i see a world where it’s like “you know Nintendo is well within their rights here guys!” But I hope that’s not where you want things to be.
