I beat the game a day or two ago and I’m back in chapter 13 to do a lot of the higher level side quest and the side quest I never finished. i’m still reading about the ending, but I have to say that emotionally, I thought it was a very strong narrative in that sense. Because of the length of the game, you were doing a lot of things that don’t relate to the main story, but a lot of that other stuff was character stuff, and it made me bond with the characters quite a bit more, and it made me like some of the new characters a lot, like Kyrie. I really love this group of characters, and I look forward to continuing their adventure in a few years. Now, I’m just going to enjoy the gameplay and other quests and the lovely world that the developers gave me. 103 hours or so and I’m still going.

@Xbob42 I've become a lot more patient with games lately. I give them much more time and try not to make a decision on it right away. This game is very similar to one of my favorite games last gen in NieR: Automata.

No, I absolutely rather you play and enjoy the game then get my money back. My advice (what I'm doing at the moment) is immediately create a player and then do my career. You slowly learn how to play with matches and some training and just set it to very easy. It's a complete blast. Then once you start improving turn up the difficulty.

I’m about 22 hours into Death Stranding. I was both thrilled and intimidated when I looked up the average completion time and saw that I was only about halfway through. I may have to take a break and find something quick to play through.

I don’t play with mods and I’m enjoying the update. The Enclave missions are fun.

Missing the double feature format, just doesn't really feel as special anymore and that makes me sad.

Abusive relationship

Rolled credits, fantastic game. It's been a long time since I played og FF7. The feelings of loss and hopelessness in Rebirth definitely don't hit quite as hard. Rebirth realizes that it can't live up to the first time the story is told, so takes things in a different direction to flesh out these events, but in doing so spoils where og FF7 goes later. It's realistic to what most of us know about this story, and doesn’t feel cheap. So long as you can understand most of the split universe stuff as sort of a side note. (for now?) There are some interesting wrinkles left, particularly: I'd still recommend playing and finish the OG before you get to the final chapters of this game. The og hits harder, Rebirth instead softens it by fleshing out the context, both with new additions and references to future events. Oh, and Intergrade DLC is recommended as well. There's a few sequences with Yuffie in Rebirth that won't land at all if you haven't played it. Whereas you can still enjoy Rebirth fine enough if you've only played remake (though og FF7's impact will be dampened).

This game is legit good. I haven't stopped playing it since I bought it putting in at least 2 hours a day on it. It can be difficult but I have been using stealth that actually works really well in this game. I was individually comparing this to a game like Starfield and it's better than that in every way. The world is absolutely gigantic and beautiful with no loading. Bethesda needs to take notes. @Biggie

I've never played the games and the first thing that stood out to me is how violent it is. It was almost like people were exploding into a bloody mess. I feel like the show is trying to be more violent than it actually is. 2/7.5
