Another independent internet platform gets gobbled up. I hope giphy's integration with Slack isn't affected. This would also explain why giphy announced recently that they were no longer allowing NSFW gifs.

giphy powers our gif button and the gif button pretty much everywhere at that

The search on that gif button sucks. It's sadly easier to find what you want by google and 80% of the time it's from giphy.

I find ours decent. The worst is the one on SwiftKey, I think they have the SFW filters cranked REALLY high on that one.

Can't you already post videos to instagram? gifs are basically mp4 containers nowadays
