Nothing amazing, but nothing that took me from the narrative. I’ve not even touched American Nightmare. But my God did I have a blast in this game. Weird part is, bought it launch day and I’m a giant vagina so I was scared at the start and stopped playing 😋 But I managed to stop being afraid of games over the years and completed it in 2019 on Steam. Was sad it only took like 15 hours, but is what it is. Great game. It's also not a particularly scary game.

I didn't forget about them as they're a couple of my favorite games of the decade, but I already cheated and listed 15 games instead of 10 and they didn't quite make it. 5timechamp
In no Order after #1 1. Breath of the Wild... warts and all still the most absorbing game I played Halo Reach/ Master Chief Collection... Reach is still the best Halo, the impending defeat is unavoidable...great representation of the covenant..Master Chief collection is there cause its too good a package to dismiss Assassins Creed Black Flag... enough assassins vs templar goodness while allowing the player to enjoy the time period...the blessed shanties Smash Bros. Ultimate... Ridley, Banjo plus everyone else! this is the all content product nintendo should do for all its older franchises (kart, golf, tennis) Arkham City, Origins, Knight... As a Batman junkie these kept me well fed...I want another just to see the next evolution of the predator system (just replace the Harley Quinn voice actor) Animal Crossing New Leaf... My favorite Animal Crossing, my home and town still look amazing!!! ...my daughter is a shitty mayor though Mario Kart 8... bests kart DS as best Mario Kart game.. the graphics, balance and amount of tracks is perfect (roster not so much but koopalings is a win) Ghost Recon Future Soldier... After the Blackhawk Down-ish Graw games the series finally evolved past the recycled ghost recon 2 gameplay...a good campaign even if slightly linear, the animations and maneuverability of the ghosts was great....specially in MP Gta V... played through the campaign about 4 different times now.. the missions arent as "repetitive" as in the old days and do a great job in building up to the heists...just let me kill Michaels family PLEASE! Super Mario 3D Land... Great mario 3DS platformer, the concept was great here and really did not need to be expanded onto the WiiU Forza Horizon 3... This should soon belong to Forza 4 once I put some time into it Toy Story 3.. Toy Box mode, also Toy Box mode split-screen... my young daughter loved it, great times Ghost Recon Wildlands... Open world Ghost Recon that played out like a season of Narcos? sure..sign me up.. plus the 4 v 4 MP was a great tense way to get into a tactical battle Biggest Regret? Still not a Sony player so I missed out on Spiderman..

It's actually up there with my favorite Metroid games easily. It's a lovely game especially after all the patching they ended up doing post-release. If you're a fan of Metroid, definitely play that game.

There have been a lot of changes after the original release, positive ones.
ShreddieMercury
I'm going to amend my list and say that the Shadow of the Colossus remake deserves a spot. I'm playing it for the first time and I'm completely floored. It's probably the most beautiful and best sounding game I've played on my PS4. I also got The Last Guardian during the recent sale and will start that after I finish Shadow. I don't know why it's taken me this long to play these games, as it turns out they are a complete bullseye for my sensibilities.

Bloodporne
My current second playthrough, from scratch I should add, of Sekiro is making me change my tune drastically. Apparently it took my entire first playthrough to actually learn the combat, and all the nuances in general, well enough to have fun and fully appreciate the game but well, right now this is an entirely different, and very very enjoyable, experience. Also, its art direction might be some of my favorite of all time I will say. I often stop and just admire the backgrounds and atmosphere. Senpou Temple/Mt. Kongo has to be one of the most gorgeous "levels" of any video game I've seen. Edit: Between God Of War, Death Stranding and Sekiro, I'm really enjoying playing with HDR on with my new TV. I still don't understand fully what it actually does but appears to make colors more vivid and "realistic"?
