I'm very curious to know about 1st/3rd person details for Indy.  Really hoping they don't just try to make it an answer to Uncharted.

Last year's show was great, I love the format Microsoft is using now.

I would actually be 100% ok if it was an Uncharted rip. An Uncharted game but set in the 1930's with that musical score and really loud "wpshhh!" sounds when I punch someone? Yes, please.

But that's just me.

I fully endorse this post.

The expectation is that MachineGames's Indiana Jones project will be shown at this event.

I don't think it's just an expectation. What's being show has been listed here

I want them to take a look back at the Lucas Arts adventure games for inspiration.  At the very least, I'd enjoy more puzzle elements than Uncharted.  Carmen Santiago elements chasing leads around the world could be cool as well.

I think I'm done with the Uncharted formula.  They're pretty vanilla games all said and done, gameplay-wise.

I would be surprised if there isn't a very unique angle to Indiana Jones.  I doubt it's an Uncharted clone.  Machinegames (and formerly Starbreeze) are one of the more interesting and unique developers working at this point.  The Wolfenstein games (and Reddick before them) are completely off-the-wall in comparison to what we see broadly in mainstream gaming.

Lucasfilm has been busy registering a bunch of Indiana Jones domain names ahead of Microsoft’s Xbox Developer_Direct event next week. The Xbox and PC exclusive Indiana Jones game, which is being developed by the same studio behind the Wolfenstein franchise, is set to get its big reveal during the Developer_Direct. Thanks video game researcher Kurakasis we might already know its name: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
