First run in a long time where I didn’t feel like I’d have a BM half way through. That was nice. Run was about five miles, half hills and I had a go at upping my pace for the last mile which I’m hoping to build in more and more until I’m hopefully not slow.

I’m now up to the final part of Links Awakening and died, though I’ll blame watching rugby at the same time. Just need to stock up on some fairies and then I’ll smash through it later on tonight. Then Golf Story after that and then I’ll be all about Undertale and Hades. Update: done, great game.

I found my 3DS held up well - except when I knocked an entire cup of tea on it which killed it off. So far I’ve had my Switch for about 3 months and it’s been fine...

As mentioned on Giant Bomb, why would you pay for it? You use the source code, or anything tied to the games you’ll be sued or issued a cease and desist instantly.

Links Awakening - without a walkthrough, I’d be solely on Eagle Tower for about 5 hours carrying a fucking ball and looking for some obscure walls to bomb. Thankfully we live in a world now where that isn’t a concern and after finishing 3/4 solo, I feel no shame in getting help. Great game mind and I’m glad it’s been in my life.

I’d put money on seeing the first two in Q2/3.

Things I’ve started somewhat recently and not gone back to include; Yakuza Zero, Eternal Darkness, Pokemon Soul Silver and Dark Souls. I feel like if I ever get a few days where I’m a) on holiday b) wife and daughter are away, I’ll try and polish one off in a single go.

How is it? I’ve never really touched the Fire Emblem games, but does this have a social system that’s sort of Persona 5-esque?

I was thinking about this - but it was more a thread in something that people may choose to sit down and listen to. That isn’t to say I haven’t sat and listened to an album a lot - but I don’t sit and listen to them on a daily basis - even a weekly basis. Compare that to the other suggestions and it didn’t feel like it was right for this list.

Had to complete a lateral flow test this morning - so went running to pass the time. I was not dressed appropriately for -3 weather but I ran (what the iPhone health app says was) 6km in about 31 minutes...so that’s quite nice. Edit: add to that when I was teaching - a big TV I planned to use so we could complete a children’s fitness circuit and some just dance, was missing. So I ended up watching and completing the workout which ended up being twenty minutes of leg exercises. Both of those and a day teaching 7-8 year olds has finished me off.

I suppose I should ask in this thread, who are the best YouTuber’s to watch that will fill this void.

I’ll hopefully finish at least one next week - though Dark Souls has been a bit lost to the aether after I (stupidly) hit the Blacksmith, panic killed him and...yep. I do like some of the content on YouTube - it just seems that what would take 10 minutes to read takes 40 minutes to watch.

It’s early in the morning so please forgive the potentially wrong thread title. I enjoy reading video game features (I get any game related news from here) but it seems few and far between websites dedicate time to allow allow someone to write something worth my time reading. Can anyone make any decent suggestions (the realisation is I tend to look in here, Kotaku, Polygon and IGN all out of habit and then listen to the various Giant Bomb podcasts and that’s it):

So I woke up this morning and after Dad duties found and finished the Face Shrine and now in Eagle Tower. Also went back to sleep at 10am to 1pm and living my best life.

Nothing this week, massively excited for the weekend where my Saturday will be consist of going running, having a Bath, playing 4 hours of Zelda and watching rugby.
