  1. I have also watched just that brief scene and yes, it happens so fast and can be interpreted as a shirt tuck enough that it gives his version of the story some plausibility. He was still clearly in that room for some sexy time activity and was definitely flirting with her. It’s not a good look overall and I’m pretty sure thing we’re about to get way more scandalous. Cohen came in too quickly.
  2. I don't want to speak for all kids, but my kids have always found these super boring and lame. This is from a different era in entertainment. When we were kids we didn't have immediate and unlimited access to thousands of hours of amazing quality children programming... so seeing something like a Peanuts special once a year was something that was actually comforting and familiar... Todays kids? Ha. Good luck. I hate how everyone abandoned cable and now we have to subscribe to like a dozen different things to have access to all the entertainment. Having all these siloed streaming services with different exclusive content sucks. Boo I say.
  3. Everyone likes to poop all over Quibi... but on paper I don't think it's a bad idea to try and rethink something like TV for the modern age and smartphones, but it sounds like it just didn't land. Doesn't make it a stupid play. I bet that this was an idea just a little before it's time, or maybe an idea that was poorly executed. (I'm saying all of these things having never used Quibi for even a second.)
  4. I thought season 2 was right up there with the others? I dunno. Overall I think I liked Avatar more than Korra. It felt fresher and more unique. I think the characters overall worked better. That's not me complaining about Korra, which I also thought was great, but after watching both pretty much back to back, you see a lot of the same themes and patterns repeat over and over so it's possible that it just got a little repetitive. I liked how in Avatar they spent so much time with the villains... I felt like they did a better job with that in Avatar than in Korra. You really felt for Zuko and Iroh, and seeing the main group travel through the Fire Kingdom and see that it's full of normal people who are also suffering was a great thing to put in a show for children. Korra also played with these themes, but everything was a little more black and white. Avatar felt more like one big story while Korra felt more like 4 stories that connected together. After the big Unalaq fight, the next two villains felt kind of anti-climatic. I liked Zaheer a lot as a bad guy, but I never really understood his motivations. His big plan never really made sense to me. Kavira seemed to just come out of nowhere and was a weird choice for final big bad on the show. Oh, and that so called lesbian relationship was such weak sauce... oh, hey, it's the last minute of the series... let's have them hold hands and look at each other. Either do it or don't... what they did came out of nowhere and made no sense. You wouldn't even read it as a lesbian thing unless you knew it was supposed to be. It felt completely tacked on... and to make it clear, I'm annoyed they didn't have the guts to actually go for it... I'm not complaining they did it. Anyway, these are nitpick complaints. Overall both shows get two huge thumbs up from me.
  5. I don't think we've even seen the real October surprises yet. My gut tells me that there are still some real whoppers in the pipeline.
  6. Reminds me of the two day period where Trump and his army of dipshits were all claiming that Jim Accosta assaulted that woman who tried to take the mic from him. Dude, we have eyeballs, we saw the tape. We all have access to the exact same footage... the exact same facts. He gently moved her arm after she touched him first. We have eyes, we have brains. We can process information. What are you doing. Typically their lies are based on all sorts of complicated layers of deception. Most things in politics are very hard to understand and so complicated that it really can be hard to determine who is and who is not being honest. That's why they always focus so much on simple social issues. Things like healthcare and trade policy are very hard to understand. Gay marriage, racism, guns... super easy to understand. This is something that I've been thinking about lately, about how far the Republicans in the Trump era have had to go to defend all of these clearly indefensible actions... it's because they know it's all bullshit. They know they're defending stupid lies, because they've always known that they don't actually believe in anything they say. It's all just some sort of game. Why is it so easy to fall behind Trump? Because they know deep down in their soul that so many of the things they say in public are just a bunch of crap... so when they are tasked to defend what is so clearly and obviously a bunch of crap, they don't haver a problem, because it's all they've ever known. They've always been willing to lie to push forward their agenda. It's just become much much much more obvious in the era of Trump as the lies and twisting of morality becomes much harder to take seriously. And yes, I know that both sides do this, but when you are so willing to put your flag in the ground over something that is so utterly ridiculous, it just speaks to your character. It speaks to the character of them all.
  7. Qanon should be all over this too... they finally caught a pedophile!!!
  8. What's also funny is that you know that they knew this footage was out there, and yet he kept putting himself out in the public, knowing what was coming. I'd be hiding under a rock in shame... but then again, I'm not a morally bankrupt con artist working for an even bigger morally bankrupt con artist...
  9. Except you know that Rudy and his team signed a mountain of paperwork saying that they consented to being filmed... so yeah, not revenge porn. Like, at all.
  10. I also just made the connection that it was Amazon (and Jeff Bezos, AKA Trumps best friend) that bought the rights to this movie. Ha.
  11. When this story was shopped to Fox News, they decided it didn't meet their standards of journalistic integrity, so they passed on the story. However, the New York Posts story on it? That's something Fox News can turn into multiple huge news stories for weeks. Just release the whole fucking thing you cowards. Let us all have what you have. This whole story is so fucked up.
  12. Three laptops... owned by a man who lives in LA, taken to a shop in Delaware... who was charging him $85 to do data recover on three laptops? And then, when they weren't picked up in 90 days, this (blind) man decided to just start combing through them for info? What the fuck?
  13. If they were fake, I think the Biden campaign would have said so. I think they do have his laptops and I think the emails are real. The entire story of how they got them makes ZERO sense, so I'm sure something very shady happened there. It's also interesting that they haven't pushed back on that part of the story. None of that makes the FBI having them make any sense. Why would they have them? What federal crime has been committed? They have an entire laptop of info and the most damning emails they can provide are the two they did? What's funny is that if this EXACT scandal happened to Trump, it would be a news story for like a single afternoon. It would be like the 400th most shocking development of his presidency.
  14. Is there a thread where we are discussing this Hunter Biden stuff? FBI in possession of Hunter Biden's purported laptop, sources say WWW.FOXNEWS.COM The FBI is in possession of the laptop purportedly belonging to Hunter Biden which contained emails revealing his foreign business dealings, including with contacts in Ukraine and China, two senior administraiton officials told Fox News Tuesday. Why would the FBI have possession of his stolen laptop? Do they have a warrant for it? I don't get this?
  15. I played like an hour of this last night. There is no warm up period. They just drop you right into total chaos with a fully powered up slayer. So far it's been fun, but nothing that feels new.
  16. It sounds like he was in 2 video chats at the same time. A work meeting and some sort of sexy time one. He accidentally left the video on for the work meeting. He was jerking off yes, but not to the meeting. He wasn't naked, he pulled his weenie out at some point. That's how I understand it anyway.
  17. I know it doesn't matter, but look at Fox News dot com right now... it's blowing up all over the place. Anything that gives them any reason to point their bony finger and go, SEE LOOK LOOK! is bad at this point. It's sloppy stupid crap from ABC.
  18. Biden's ABC town hall questioners include former Obama speechwriter, wife of former Pennsylvania Dem candidate WWW.FOXNEWS.COM Two of the questioners at the ABC town hall featuring Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on Thursday had ties to high-profile Democratic politicians, including one who previously worked as a speechwriter in the Obama administration. I mean, why even do this? Surely you had to know the info would leak and now we're going to have to listen to Trump and the entire right wing media have a total meltdown over this... and for what? What's the benefit? I also love how they are saying that the entire town hall was rigged because that moderator guy screwed up in his DM to the Mooch with the super, unbelievably aweul tweet of... "Should I respond to Trump" WOW! The whole thing is a sham! At any rate, these are unforced errors and very stupid things to be doing.

  20. I always love how they've never stop talking about how decisive Obama was... FUCK OFF FOREVER... no he wasn't. He was as diplomatic and measured as they come. You just hated him. There is a difference. If Obama is a 2 on the divisiveness scale, Trump is a fucking 10,000.
  21. Mitt Romney is a hack. Yes, on one hand, you have the President of the United States of America, who does hateful unheard of things such as A, B, C and D. And then you have, Keith Olberman, who is a YouTuber and not in office who called the Prez a terrorist. Yes, the exact same thing. And ripping up a speech is also not the same thing. What if it was worthy of being ripped up because it was so hateful? This both sides bullshit needs to stop. These two things are not the same.
  22. Yeah, the good news is LEGOs hold their value like crazy. You can buy this set, and if you keep the box and everything in good condition you can be sure that at the very minimum, you can sell it down the road and break even. More likely you will make money, even if you open it.
