I love this and I'm rooting for Epic. It's time for Apple to loosen the reigns on the app store. It's time.

Well, I dunno about all that nonsense... but we just watched this series as a family and wow, was this some quality stuff. It really was a fantastic show. We all loved it. Looking forward to Legend of Korra which hits Netflix any day now I believe.

I dunno, on the Heyyoudvd scale of bat shit crazy, that IGN scarf thread was pretty minor. He got way way way worse toward the end. Some of the names in that thread really bring back memories, and I didn't even post on those parts of IGN. At least, I don't think I did, but maybe. I dunno. Feels like million years ago.

I remember when he went hard into trying to paint Trevon Martin as some sort of villain. He really is a piece of shit. His views on this stuff are absolutely abhorrent and evil. And he 100% lacks the self-awareness to even see how far gone he is. ZERO self awareness. ZERO empathy. It really is bizarre that a Canadian's main hobby seems to be closely following another countries politics. It's very weird. The shit barely even effects him. He doesn't believe in anything but the fight. There is no underlying morality behind his beliefs. He truly believes in nothing. He just wants to argue. Remember when he hated trump? When he was the self proclaimed most anti-trump board member? Ha. He's all in now with the insanity. He's one of the weirdest and most twisted internet goofballs I've encountered in my 25ish years online.

I pop onto his twitter account now and then. He's a total lost cause. He believes in nothing. His black and white mind (incapable of nuance or compassion) just goes wherever his twisted masters tell it to go. He's so far gone, and so lacking in any self awareness... it's really kind of sad. He's gone 100% trump. He has no opinions or beliefs. He just likes to argue. He's not interested in making things better or helping people, he just wants to be right and dunk on the libs. It's absolutely pathetic. (and I hope he's reading this)

Listening to that song makes me feel old. I'm pretty sure the music videos my grandkids watch are just gonna be full-on uncensored scat porn.

I tried listening to his podcast a few years ago and it was absolutely insufferable.

My son is the same way. It's so funny what causes anxiety and what doesn't. He could get 100 shots in a row without skipping a beat... but 2 tablespoons of grape antibiotics is a 3 hour standoff involving gagging and vomiting and crying. Or rather it was a few years ago, its been a while... would probably go better these days...

I also thought Captain Marvel was pretty forgettable. I think it's easily in the bottom 1/4 of the MCU. Nothing terrible, just kinda meh. END GAME SPOILER

Well, no... if they wanted to fuck up that shield wall, they could have knocked it down in 2 seconds and started beating everyone senseless. They chose not to do that. It's not the same thing as being beaten by a shield wall.

So this game is $30 AND you have to have Game Pass? I don't want game pass but I would pay probably $30 bucks for my kids to play it... BOO Isn't Game Pass for a service free games? If I want to pay money for something, why do I also have to subscribe to the "free" game thing? There's a lot on the Xbox I don't get anymore. I'm officially old. EDIT: It looks like it is "free" with game pass, or $30 without... so never mind!

So what this really means is that instead of getting some sort of real relief from a real package we're getting some half assed bullshit that will do nothing and it's going to kill the chance to make something real happen later? I think the Republicans know they are about to get their shit handed to them and are just throwing their hands up and letting the world burn. Because who cares. They surely do not.

ROTJ is well directed. The problems are in the script. TROS is like you took 3 different Star Wars movies and boiled them down into one super dense nugget of Star Wars. It's more like the crack cocaine. Someone somewhere once said watching TROS is like telling your friend you love potato salad... so he ties you to a chair and mashes 800 lbs of potato salad into your face for 2 hours straight. I really disliked pretty much everything about TROS. It wasn't quite prequel bad, but it was closer to that quality level than it wasn't. It took a giant poo all over the good will they built up over the first two movies. I also thought the Mandalorian was just kinda okay, but I seem to be pretty alone in that opinion.

Is there any amount of love that can overcome The Phantom Menace? I'm not sure.

When the original trilogy was coming out, it really was like nothing else. It was a level of quality that was clearly above all other sci-fi and fantasy stuff from that era. It was fun and had a rich deep universe and every single kid I knew was obsessed with it. There wasn't as much competition for our attention. There weren't 10 different good movie franchises, or amazing television series, or really high quality children entertainment on TV, or video on demand or video games that didn't look like 8 blocks on a screen... it was a different time and Star Wars was this massive cultural thing... and then that good will just spread out from that. A lot of it was timing. It is weird, I was a HUGE Star Wars nut. For like, a long time. But most of my love and affection for the series has been destroyed by pretty much everything that's come out since the OT. I still love the OT. I HATE the special editions and I really hate George Lucas stubborn refusal to release the original cuts. The prequels are three of the worst movies ever created. I actually enjoy watching them in the same way I enjoy watching something like the Room. They are so bad you can't help but be mesmerized by the overwhelming awfulness of them. They are just so bad. So very very bad. The new trilogy was okay. I didn't hate it, I didn't love it... it was just kinda there. The first two are decent the last one is a total shit show. Solo is boring and bad, Rogue One was decent... I dunno, Star Wars is just another thing now. I'll go see them when they come out, but thew warm tingles and nostalgia high are all long gone.

Man, seriously, FUCK Tucker Carlson. There are very few people on this world that I would just punch right in the fucking face as hard as I could if given the chance, and he's on that list.

It's unbelievably hard to watch. Mainly because it hurts me deep down in my soul to know that 63 million people were stupid enough to vote for this man. It makes me question everything I know about the universe. It just doesn't seem plausible in any way. Like, how... how is that even possible? Who can listen to ANYTHING this man says, about literally anything ever and think, yes, yes, this is the man to lead the most powerful country in the world. This is our guy. This stammering simple idiot, this is our guy.

Probably wants Microsoft to give the USA some sort of finders fee. Because clearly that's how this works.
