Hardcore trump supporters are lost, we all agree on that. However, the ones I mentioned that state “he’s a businessman”....they aren’t. They are the moderate conservatives that put up with trump because Hillary was a worse option in their eyes. I work with a ton of conservatives who voted for trump and said they would consider Bloomberg and only Bloomberg if he ran against him. my own dad despises trump. Would never vote for him. But also won’t vote for Bernie. He’d vote for Bloomberg. There are a lot of moderates that feel this way. The only reason I like Bloomberg is because it takes away a key talking point of trump supporters and takes away a lot of trumps own talking points. Bloomberg is actually a self-made billionaire. And he’s actually smart. And following him on twitter and FB - he’s not afraid to go low and hit trump where it hurts - his money. He’s constantly taking shots about how it was his daddy’s money, he’s a failed businessman, etc. I love it and trump can’t counter it to Bloomberg. so many trump supporter’s excuse for tolerating trump is “he’s a good businessman” and “not a cOmMiE sOcIALiSt“. Well Bloomberg isn’t a socialist and he’s a better businessman. Sadly, I don’t think this country is ready for a democratic socialist or a far-left leaning candidate. There’s just too many boomers left that have been corrupted by Fox and the young people aren’t coming out to vote.

A few years ago I was an avid runner. Out on a run one day, i got this intense pain out of nowhere in the bottom of my foot. I was at the halfway mark (3/6 miles) and no phone or anything. So I fast walked/slow jogged back home. I gave it a week to see if it would get better. Went out on a run and made it about 500’ bc the pain was so intense. A few weeks later i went to a podiatrist and turns out I got plantars fasciitis. Aside from rehab, stretching and cortisone shots there’s not much they can do. However his one piece of advice is to wear crocs as much as I can tolerate. He said at least around your house instead of being barefoot. so I bought a pair of crocs to loaf around in. Now while i would never wear them in public - they are fucking amazing and unbelievably comfortable. I love them. And I want me some chicken wing crocs to wear around my house.

How much content do you think is reasonable for a single, $60 release? the reason the live service is a good thing is for people like me that might put 300+ hours into a MP game and it doesn’t go stale. New modes, new guns, new maps, etc.

But in the instance of this COD, it’s really not aggressive at all and 100% optional. Loot boxes are gone. I really believe it’s a happy medium. Aside from that, it’s not like you don’t get anything for your $10. There’s 100 tiers to unlock of cosmetics and COD currency. I actually think you wind up getting like 1900 COD currency for the full season (100=$1). This pays for the battle plass plus lets you buy a cosmetic pack on the store. Let Me ask - if you still think this model is bad - what would be your perfect solution to maintaining a live service game with steady updates to keep the playerbase engaged?

Well they do. You don’t have to buy the battle pass and it still gives you free unlocks. They also sell gun/operator skins with no impact on the game. also if you do buy the battle pass and play pretty frequently - you actually get your money back, so the next season is free. So it’s basically a one-time, optional purchase of $10. if this means new maps and modes are released on a pretty steady basis as they’ve been doing - I’m 100% on board with this model.

Well that’s a shame. curious about AC:Vikings though. I imagine it will have sea-faring adventures akin to Black Flag, so that should be cool.

The new Possessed album melts my fucking face. Can’t wait to see these guys in March. After such a long hiatus they came correct with this album. I’ve been absolutely hooked on this album by Utah’s Caladan Brood. The clean vocals are amazing. If you’re into The Summoning and haven’t heard these guys - check it out. Also, it’s based on a big book series called Malazan. Might have to check it out. while I like Bölzer so far, I haven’t gone through their catalog too much. Also, the lead singer, despite being mixed-race has some questionable views. Nonetheless, this arguably the best riff in metal. That opening is just fucking unreal. Makes me want to smash my monitor over my colleagues head. Ive been going through Sodom’s library again as i haven’t listened to them in forever (been doing that a lot recently with a bunch of bands I’ve always known and skimmed over - but never really dove into). Anyway - this track rips: ive also been really digging into Bolt Thrower. Always liked them but I’ve been in a BT kick recently for sure. last, tonight I’m going to see one of my fav thrash bands!! 🤘(and a bonus of seeing Ludichrist, whom I’ve never seen live)

I’ve said it in the past - but I had a lot of fun running through the campaign. The gameplay is really great and the world itself was beautiful and fun to explore for a while. I think i put 60hrs in and don’t feel jaded about longevity - I got my monies worth. However I can’t help but feel disappointed with the end game. I would’ve loved a reason to stick around and play. that said, I’m really looking forward to seeing what they come up with. I will absolutely reinstall and give it another go.

I suspect both will be $499. And I’m ok with that. More than anything, I’m really hoping crossplay is a standard function for all games next gen.

I’m still pretty heavily playing this. Rust is a really fun map. Sounds like the BR mode is going to drop any day now as well. I don’t really care for BR games so I’m hoping it doesn’t take away from the development of regular maps. I definitely find this game to shine on smaller, more traditional style COD maps. Most of the newer maps suck as they are just too big and it turns the game into a camp fest of sitting in a corner listening for footsteps. I would love a map filter so i can just play rust, shipment, shoothouse, crash, vacant, gun runner, hackney yard.
