  1. https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2019/05/10/sponsor-an-ohio-abortion-bill-thinks-you-can-reimplant-ectopic-pregnancies-you-cant/?utm_term=.0b3bee91b88b I read this article today and legit raged.
  2. Huh. I guess they improved it. When I had it, I was legit angry I paid a month for it and called to bitch them out for a refund. It was downright unwatchable. I'm trying to cut back some on my subs. I put Sling and Hulu on pause for a few months. I've got so much to watch on Netflix, it's really all I need for now.
  3. Did Hulu's live TV service improve drastically? I had it for about a month when it came out and it was hot garbage. I canceled it quickly and went to Sling, which was a much smoother stream. I've canceled it for the time being, though.
  4. Yes, and that's the biggest bummer for me. I miss the days of turn-based battles. At least I still have Dragon Quest...
  5. I just have a lot of skepticism about this. I enjoyed the original, though I don't think it's the best in the series, let alone the greatest of all time, but I just feel like this will be so changed that it won't really feel like FFVII.
  6. Despite the fact they beat the Celtics(who really just deserved to lose after that joke of a showing), I'd like to see the Bucks go all the way.
  7. I really liked Catcher in the Rye, but I can see how it's not for a lot of people. I have The Stranger, it was given to me some time back, I need to read it. It's short enough.
  8. Alrighty, thanks! I really want to give this series a try. I bought 0 on a Steam sale a little while back and I'll start there. I'd like to see the rest of the series come to PC. There's six games, right? Well, I guess 7, counting 0.
  9. But they're still remasters of the first and second games, though, right?
  10. I'm having a little trouble following the timeline of these games. Is this a remaster of Yakuza 2? What is the Kiwami part?
  11. Had my first real moments of frustration last night. I was on the mission escorting the teenage girl to one of the camps. First time trying, we get to a tunnel with enemies. Deacon tells her to hop off the bike so he can take care of them and when I'm inching forward toward the bad guys, the mission fails, saying I left the girl behind. Wtf? I did exactly as the mission prompted me! Second time I tried it, I hopped off the bike on the road to gather some scrap from a car. The bike falls over for some reason and the girl dies and the mission is failed. I damn near threw my controller in frustration. Other than that, still enjoying it a lot and will be playing more today.
  12. Haven't been reading as much late with stuff going on in my life and getting back into video games, but I am currently working my way through Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of the Lusitania by Erik Larson and Mere Morality by Dan Barker.
  13. I received Absolute War today, weird that it got here first when it shipped two days after the others, but whatevs.
  14. Lucian is kind of an ass, but that last big post of his isn't entirely wrong. Also, I've never read Jordan Peterson and what little I know about him, I don't really have a desire to. Also, forget making my bed. I haven't done that since my mom made me as a kid. Only time my bed gets made is when I wash my sheets.
  15. I remember having chicken pox, along with every other kid in my kindergarten class back in 92/93. Not fun times. some kids literally got scarred for life.
  16. Other than a few casual interactions on FB, I don't talk to anyone from high school or college. I've never had much success maintaining friendships. I hang out with people, then once graduation happens or we move on to new jobs, we kinda go our separate ways. I've hung out with a small handful of coworkers from my previous job and there's one I text with fairly regularly, but that's all. I hang out with current coworkers and one who recently left, but I'll be surprised if we maintain friendships years from now. I have my husband and my dog, though, so that helps a lot and I'm never particularly lonely. And I have become more sociable in recent years, though I'm still an introvert.
  17. I need to play this series. I have 0 on PC so that'll be where I start, I imagine.
  18. Highly communicable disease, makes kids miserable, deadly to some, and causes an even more painful condition when you're an adult. But, hey, we have a vaccine so people don't have to endure it anymore! What's the big deal?
  19. I beat that first horde last night. Don't think I was the most effective, but I got the job done. I came at it from a different direction and didn't see all the big flammable tanks and shit.
  20. Just finished Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation. 9/10.
