Had my first real moments of frustration last night. I was on the mission escorting the teenage girl to one of the camps. First time trying, we get to a tunnel with enemies. Deacon tells her to hop off the bike so he can take care of them and when I'm inching forward toward the bad guys, the mission fails, saying I left the girl behind. Wtf? I did exactly as the mission prompted me! Second time I tried it, I hopped off the bike on the road to gather some scrap from a car. The bike falls over for some reason and the girl dies and the mission is failed. I damn near threw my controller in frustration. Other than that, still enjoying it a lot and will be playing more today.

Haven't been reading as much late with stuff going on in my life and getting back into video games, but I am currently working my way through Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of the Lusitania by Erik Larson and Mere Morality by Dan Barker.

I received Absolute War today, weird that it got here first when it shipped two days after the others, but whatevs.

Lucian is kind of an ass, but that last big post of his isn't entirely wrong. Also, I've never read Jordan Peterson and what little I know about him, I don't really have a desire to. Also, forget making my bed. I haven't done that since my mom made me as a kid. Only time my bed gets made is when I wash my sheets.

I remember having chicken pox, along with every other kid in my kindergarten class back in 92/93. Not fun times. some kids literally got scarred for life.

Other than a few casual interactions on FB, I don't talk to anyone from high school or college. I've never had much success maintaining friendships. I hang out with people, then once graduation happens or we move on to new jobs, we kinda go our separate ways. I've hung out with a small handful of coworkers from my previous job and there's one I text with fairly regularly, but that's all. I hang out with current coworkers and one who recently left, but I'll be surprised if we maintain friendships years from now. I have my husband and my dog, though, so that helps a lot and I'm never particularly lonely. And I have become more sociable in recent years, though I'm still an introvert.

I need to play this series. I have 0 on PC so that'll be where I start, I imagine.

Highly communicable disease, makes kids miserable, deadly to some, and causes an even more painful condition when you're an adult. But, hey, we have a vaccine so people don't have to endure it anymore! What's the big deal?

I've already said I'm enjoying it.

I beat that first horde last night. Don't think I was the most effective, but I got the job done. I came at it from a different direction and didn't see all the big flammable tanks and shit.

Just finished Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation. 9/10.

The direwolves play a bigger role in the books, but people just love doggos in general. It's not surprising a lot of people feel they handled that scene wrong.

Fire Emblem and Days Gone again today.

I probably had one on me when I was really young, but when I was maybe 7 or 8 I developed a terrible allergy to them and I can't be around them. I won't even go to someone's house if they have indoor cats.

I really just ran into them by accident on my way to another mission location. First time I thought they didn't see me and I could sneak around and get some supplies, but that was a no go. I attempted to burn them with molotovs, and I did kill quite a few, but enough swarmed me and I wasn't prepared. I chose to just blow past it all after that. I'm really enjoying this game. Had some trouble locating all the nest in some zones last night, so I gave up the search and I'll go back to them later.

I really don't get why Tiger Woods deserves that honor. He overcame adversity...that was his own doing?

I think I encountered my first horde last night. I died. Twice. I don't think I'm ready yet. It was a ton of them mostly in a train car by a Nero station.

Just end it before you cheat. Seems simple enough.

Playing Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation now and i'll be playing some Days Gone later tonight.

That book is on my list and I'll be watching this show later tonight.

Why people gotta be assholes?

I have to work both next Sunday and Monday. Guess I'll try to watch it if I have time Monday morning after I get home, because social media and the internet in general have been especially douchey about posting spoilers right after episodes.

Hmm, I thought I had enough WWII stuff, but that one seems like it'd be a good addition. I'll take it.
