  1. Fox had a major share in Hulu. So Disney owns Hulu as a result of the purchase of Fox.
  2. Dave Chapelle had a funny joke about a super hero that needs to rape to activate his powers. He rapes to save, and saves more than he rapes.
  3. It's easy for him to say that until the next MCU films release. Measure him when Ms Marvel and Avengers 4 releases.
  4. Republicans not thinking about the ramifications of their short sighted mouth diarrhea? First I've heard of it. They're usually so calm, measured, rational, forward thinking, analytical, and not treasonous in any way.
  5. That does look pretty interesting. Also, maybe I am late to the lingo, but does "limited series" just mean that is planned as a 1 season show, or does it have some other meaning?
  6. They're not the government, nor did this under government direction. It is NOT a freedom of speech issue. It is whether they have the right to refuse a service to him or not.
  7. I meant why brung up the option of quitting the movie if he is not going to? If a whole cast says "we'd quit if weren't under contract", Disney would be like "good, you're not quitting". ...and that would be it. Starting some kind of movement through social media pressure to get Gunn reinstated is fine. Idle threats are pointless. Imagine the Xbox One reveal and launch if people just threatened "I wouldn't buy it, but all my friends and library is on 360 and I do not want to change. So I will still buy the One. I am just find the Kinect disgusting." If the Xbox One was on track to sell as well as MS hopped, the idle threats would be pointless.
  8. I am cool if he takes his contractual obligations seriously. It keeps him from getting labeled as a guy who will breach contract and put a film/franchise in jeopardy (and thus profits). And had his comment about being contractually/legally obligated been a response to somebody saying "then why don't you quit?", then sure.... But he seemed to offer up the scenario of him quitting. It's kind if like "why even bring it up?"
  9. I think it has more to do with the idle threat to leave rather than just hin expressing his disapproval of the situation.
  10. Christopher Robin gave me a similar vibe to the 1991 film Hook. Hook did a $13.5m opening. Adjusted for inflation is $25m today, same bo take as Christopher Robin. So it's performance is not that surprising to me.
  11. Yeah, I think had Orville not been so well recieved, and hailed as "the new Star Trek" I think CBS would have either killed Discovery, or doubled down on the dark, gritty, ulta-violent world they presented. I think Patrick Stewart sees Star Trek as a symbol of hope. Something to brighten your day, your outlook, and let you imagine a better future. Patrick Stewart may not be able to lead an away mission on adventures as fun as we will see in Orville, but he could be a wise mentor to those that do go on those adventures. I'd love to see Picard as like the wise headmaster/Professor at Starfleet academy.
  12. I just knew the game was going to be a cash mill before I even clicked on it. The days of Valve making a single purchase experience, like L4D, Portal, or HL is long gone. Obviously there is a market for this. I am just disappointed this type of thing is their focus.
  13. Does it feel more like BlOps 2 or 3. I wanna try it, but do not want to have to preorder for the privilege.
  14. I technically started Tales From The Borderlands before this thread, but just finished it Thursday. It had been in my backlog ever since it was a GWG for Xbox One. I did not even have it installed. I have Breath of the Wild and No Man's Sky Next (Xbox) started, so I guess those do not count. But I also have Mario Odyssey which I have not started. So maybe that could count?
  15. Them : I don't see menu. Me : what do you see? Them : I see the time, "status", and "menu" ... oh there it is. Me : Great press menu please.
  16. Star Trek Online is about the only place you've been able to get post-Nemesis era star trek content. I like STO but it is no substitute for a good tv series.
  17. She also looks to be the only one in motion, while the other two are just standing there looking badass.
  18. Over the phone technical support for commercial products.
