  1. Yeah as far as regional burger places go, I was pretty disappointed the first time I had In-n-Out. Now Whataburger on the other hand...
  2. 1A - Taco Bell But aside from that I came in here ready to argue but that's actually a solid list.
  3. I think this is the most happy I've been for the second season of a streaming show.
  4. Same here. I got distracted and never went back to finish it.
  5. Frankly Taco Bell > just about everything out there. That said, when the subject of Chik-fil-A has come up around here, I find that many people are fans of the service more than the food. It's the one fast food joint where you are unlikely to run into the aloof teen cashier who looks bored, responds brusquely, and acts like you're inconveniencing them by being there. Whatever other faults CFA has, their employee service training is quality.
  6. Oh neat. I wasn't aware that they used to have loot boxes in Save the World mode. TIL.
  7. I wanna try Root but I'm apprehensive. Balance tends to be a real problem with asymmetrical games. Brass is a terrific economic development game. I've played it a couple times but don't own it. I might change that soon.
  8. The question will be; in the era of streaming with fewer people buying physical movies on disc, is the money they'll make 'selling' new editions of a film worth the cost to the studio to re-do or add new CGI effects in the first place?
  9. That sounds like every officer everywhere when dealing with smart-ass kids. I'm not reading race into this at all.
  10. Farscape was terrific. I'm not a real fan of space sci-fi at all, but it was one of the very few that grabbed me. I was bummed when it ended.
  11. Nope, but if I ever hit the lottery I'd buy me a '57 Chevy Bel Air.
  12. Usually when I say I'm punching out I don't come back into the thread, but I'm tired and down for one last attempt at clarifying my point. Plus, I know you're not a bad dude who's just trying to draw me in to an argument. :P The reason the NRA is opposing the renewal in its current form when they did not oppose it on any previous re-authorization is that the writing of the new Red Flag provisions allows for the confiscation of guns (i.e. the removal of rights) from a person on accusation, or signs of potential bad future behavior. Not arrest, not conviction, not even issuance of a protective order. It circumvents any due process or evidentiary standard. It's not about allowing "convicted criminals" or those that have committed abuse to keep their guns. We (ideally) don't jail citizens or strip rights without due process or conviction. This addendum to VAWA codifies an exception to that rule. That is their sticking point. Now whether you agree whether the new addition is good or not is a whole other debate. The only point I was trying to make was that, as distasteful as I find the NRA's lobbying arm to be at times, painting their opposition here as "The NRA wants criminals to keep their guns!" is an unfair characterization.
  13. Rising Sun is on my wishlist. I'll likely pick it up at GenCon this year; should be able to find a deal on it. I'll look into Mystics!
  14. This thread reminds me I still need to buy 10 round magazines for my M&P .40...I haven't shot it since NJ made me get rid of my 15's.
  15. WWE response: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/wwe-hits-back-john-olivers-last-week-tonight-wrestling-takedown-1198510 "John Oliver is clearly a clever and humorous entertainer, however, the subject matter covered in his WWE segment is no laughing matter," the organization said in the statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "Prior to airing, WWE responded to his producers refuting every point in his one-sided presentation. John Oliver simply ignored the facts. The health and wellness of our performers is the single most important aspect of our business, and we have a comprehensive, longstanding Talent Wellness program. We invite John Oliver to attend WrestleMania this Sunday to learn more about our company."
  16. "the network" meaning I can't just watch 'em on TV?
