Discord is great for online communities. For example, for the X-Wing miniatures game I play, it's how all the online tournaments/leagues are coordinated, and even many of the local meetups. My teenagers use discord for voice chat with all of their friends, while they are playing online. It's really indispensable.

2 teams have made the decision to move on from him with reports of missing team meetings, being late to practice and being extremely difficult to work with. His production fell off a cliff after week 6 last season. The Bills decided to accept a $30M dead money hit in return for a 2nd round pick. That is really telling about how problematic they found him.

He’s also going to be 31 this season. Doesn’t have that much time left.

Just thinking. Maybe, it was the starting offence that had an issue with Diggs? Rather than the backups?

I started with a controller, and about 30 minutes in switched over with KB/M. I haven't used concentration at all. (I'm using a Swiftpoint Z2, so most of my keyboard commands are mapped to buttons on the Mouse). I haven't had too many boss fights yet. But it feels "right", not having to go into slow motion.

Amazon ends “AI-powered” store checkout, which needed 1,000 video reviewers ARSTECHNICA.COM "AI" checkout was actually powered by 1,000 human video reviewers in India. While the concept was that AI would track which items were purchased , "Walk Out required about 700 human reviews per 1,000 sales". In essence, purchases were mostly tracked by workers watching you on cameras in India.

I'm convinced that KB/M is the only way to play this. So much of the combat is focused on targetting specific components on the robots, that I wonder how anyone does this effectively with a controller? I'm only about 5-8 hours into the game, and have only done a few missions in the "Forbidden West". I opened it up, only to go back and do most of the Side Quests in Mainscrape. I'm looking forward to the story really getting going, because the early part of the game is, IMHO, way too focused on how Aloy didn't say goodbye to people between the two games.

There are so many things they did right in this game. It's probably the best looking game I've played. It's not a particularly long game, so you should be able to do it.

The fact that some mocks have 4 QBs taken in the first four picks is totally mind blowing for me. This QB class would have to be as deep as '83 for that to make any sense.

I've played it a bunch more, and while I think the "rasterization" portion of the game might be the best out there. The lack of ray traced lighting/reflections is holding it back from looking as good as something like Alan Wake 2. The lighting doesn't look "bad", but there is something that always looks a little "not right" to me.

There is a pretty strong argument that AI can simplify the process of asset generation. From what I've read, a significant challenge in modern game design is the amount of assets needed -- if you get AI to do much of the "grunt work", and have it finished/tweaked by humans, I would guess there are significant savings that might be realized.

Setting an executable to run as an administrator changes how the operating system treats that executable. How you launch the executable is largely irrelevant.
