    Nortel was one of the companies that gave me a job offer after grad school (and was my second choice after the auto company I joined). I really dodged a bullet. I haven't watched the video, but was really confused about why they essentially started out arguing how the phone wasn't invented in Canada -- and stopped watching at that point.

    Didn’t realize this. Despite being called the best division in football a few weeks ago by some NFL analysts, the entire NFC West managed to score the same amount of points as the Giants - who were lead by an undrafted rookie QB that had a QBR under 4.

    5 playoffs in 6 years means a team doesn't have very many high draft picks, which pushes them towards the mean. Unless you have a super-elite QB/coach combo (think Belichick/Brady, Reid/Mahomes) it is hard not to have down seasons. Edit: It's hard to argue against Reid being (probably "by far") the best head coach in the NFL right now.

    Not all real tracks are amazing. However, there is a reason the same tracks appear again and again in racing games. Is it possible to make better tracks? Potentially. I haven't found Turn 10's fictional/fantasy/fake tracks are as enjoyable to race as Spa/Laguna Seca/etc.

    Race tracks aren't known for being "visually interesting". I want to race at Spa, Suzuka, Yas Marinas, Silverstone, etc. -- because those are tracks that have been designed to be raced on by real race cars, and IMHO it shows. I find the racing experience on the fake tracks less interesting -- and frequently "gimmicky".

Despite me trying to get it to insert right and left wing stereotypes in the definition, I only managed to get a lecture from ChatGPT on trying to link negativer stereotypes My original assumption was that @stepee was doing a parody thread of the nonsense thread in the gaming forums of a similar name that resulted in a ban. I have treated both with the same seriousness.
