    There has been 1 good movie (Rogue One), two mediocre ones (Force Awakens, The Last Skywalker) and two complete disasters (Solo, The Last Jedi) under Disney. Filoni was involved in The Clone Wars (excellent), Rebels (excellent, presently midway through season 3), Bad Batch (excellent), The Mandalorian (mostly excellent), Book of Boba Fett (mediocre) and Ahsoka (haven't seen yet). His hit rate is so much higher than the movie side.

    While SD CAN play AAA games (I've played GTAV, Spider-Man and Hogwart's on it), I think it is at its best playing indie titles (Vampire's Survivors, Brotato, Dave the Diver, etc.). I just wish that indie devs would put in a version with UI/text that made the game more playable on the smaller screen. Dave the Diver on SD is fun, but squinting to read the text is not.

    I normally take US Thanksgiving off, but have not this year, luckily the game worth watching is in the evening. Friday/Saturday nights are not something I will ever get spousal approval on for watching football.

    Fanatec has huge deals on their equipment -- suggesting that some of their tech is likely to get refreshed in their near future. Black Friday FANATEC.COM The DD2 at $800 is insane, as are the deals on their CSL Elite and Clubsport pedals.

    I've seen enough movies to know if the world was actually ending, NASA would cover it up and pretend it wasn't happening. So, if word got out it was about to end, I would ignore it and go on with my life, assuming nothing was actually going to happen.

    Unless you are getting the feed OTA, your picture quality could be impacted by the amount of bandwidth your cable/satellite provider grants the broadcast. I've never noticed any significant difference in PQ between any of the networks (although I am streaming my NFL). Quality of the commentary is highly dependent on the crew you get -- the regional guys are usually pretty bad. Some teams seem to get the same regional crew week after week, so you may get used to hearing the same guys.

    I’ve watched the Giants in two consecutive weeks and they were a fucking embarrassment. I don’t think I have ever seen an NFL team play worse.

    I only had that problem for 1 lap of 1 race. I’ve been lucky in that the bugs haven’t impacted me much.

    @best3444 the secret to buying PC games, is to not buy them very often from Steam. CDKeys, GreenManGames and Fanatical are usually cheaper. That said, with the Deck, I usually prefer to make sure I buy a Steam key. While you can play non-Steam games, I find games launched from Steam work a lot better than from other store fronts.

    It’s pretty good for recent things. Stuff more than 10 years old can be hit and miss. If you look on the Steam Page for the game, it will tell you if it’s compatible.

    My boys (and most of their teenage friends) spend a lot of time in Roblox (and also Rocket League). There are some Roblox games that they have played for a long time (i.e. TDS, Arcane Odyssey) and eagerly await updates for. These game are mostly free, and it's a social experience for them (as they play with their friends). Some of these games have incredible player counts.

    Oliver from DF did a re-look at S:JS on console a couple of months ago, my recollection was that the bugs were largely fixed and the new performance mode cleaned up the frame rate issues (at the expense of RT [which IMO wasn't particularly impactful in this game]).

    Not with frivolous lawsuits that seem to have no chance of succeeding and appear, to someone as cynical as I, to be raised solely to gain name recognition for the DA.
