@TwinIon I agree with most of your points. In terms of gear, I found that some of the bonuses for using armour sets were significant enough to warrant upgrading the armour. I tended to upgrade armour ~every 5 levels or so. While it was expensive to do so, I also found in the later part of the game I had a ton of money/resources anyways. I suggest you play the Fates of Atlantis DLC -- IMHO it was by far the best part of the game.

I felt I was largely successful in combat playing the first game -- so, I think I was "playing it right". However, in this second game -- I don't have the same feeling. The mini-games I've played so far is super-easy (arm-wrestling, fist fighting), and one-on-one combat with parrying is really simple. HOWEVER, the boss fights (particularly the one in the first chapter against Letho), and the scenes where I am swarmed by 5-6 enemies are pretty tough. I've taken to dodging, running away until I get into a 1-on-1 situation, throwing an Aard sign, hitting him twice, roll-away and repeat. (Using a Swallow/Rook potion, and the appropriate oil on my blade.) To me, it feels like I am cheesing the game. When I do this, and focus on taking "no hits at all" then I can beat the scenarios pretty easy. But again, it doesn't feel satisfying -- so I have this feeling that "I'm not playing the game right".

There is a lot of feedback that you receive in a car "through your backside" that allow you to drive a car closer to the limit that just doesn't exist in a sim rig.

I’ve been meaning to sit down and watch some of the eRacing. George Russel sounds like he is dominating, although Lando Norris and Charles LeClerc seem to be doing well. TBH, Formula-E is the minor leagues of racing (as is IRL), so nothing surprises me.

Looked at the data. My impression was "if you don't test, you have no idea what the fuck is going on." What do you see in the data? Based on that link, the testing levels in NY state are criminally low IMHO. Is healthcare a state or a federal responsibility in the US? (I'm assuming federal, based on the Trump hatred in this thread.) In Canada, our Premier is owning the fact that testing in Ontario is embarrassingly low. However, our testing appears to be somewhere in the range of 10x of what NY is doing (as a % of hospitalizations/deaths or any other hard metric). That said, almost all other jurisdictions (other than NY), are showing a significant death rate among those in the 80+ range (in Europe and NA) relative to younger people. The fact that we're so focused on closing restaurants, yet are doing very little to protect the vulnerable in long-term care homes is disappointing.

I'll show my location (Peel Region in Ontario Canada). I don't know where the data is for NYC Testing Data: Hospitalizations and Deaths by Age What we did in the first wave didn't work. It didn't protect those that were the most vulnerable. What they haven't shared is the comorbidities of those that were hospitalized/died. How many were immunocompromised? Had previously smoked/vaped? Had diabetes? Had pulmonary issues/heart disease? The shotgun approach was what we had to do without having data. We now have data that should allow epidemiologists and health officials to create a Wave 2 plan that doesn't involve shutting down the entire fucking economy.

Data is interesting. As we prepare for a second wave, we need to ensure we take appropriate measures targeted at protecting the most vulnerable.
