RTX cards do ray tracing through dedicated cores. GTX runs it through the shader cores. Rumours suggest RDNA2 does not have dedicated cores, but runs Ray Tracing through the shader cores in a TBD way. Since hardware acceleration doesn't have a very robust definition (one could argue that anything that runs on a GPU core ilo a CPU core is hardware accelerated), we don't really know how significant the RDNA2 RT hardware acceleration is. I guess we will learn in October/November.

How much is this gonna be? I enjoyed it on Saturn, and figure it would be well worth $10-15 for nostalgia reasons.

The only Ray Tracing demo I'm aware of is the Minecraft demo -- which SeX ran at 1080p ~30 fps -- so SeS should be able to run it at ~620p. My 4-year old GTX-1070 can technically do ray tracing. But I'd never want to take the performance hit.

We're going to have to differ on this. I haven't played AC:O on console, but IMHO, on PC Ultra settings it is a clear step above RDR2 (on Ultra) and Forza Horizon 4 (on Ultra, which by the way, is my favourite game of all time). I haven't played Control or LoU2, so I'll hold my opinions on those. I'll be honest, Observer looks good, but I don't really understand why you are so impressed with it on a technical basis. TBH: The only thing that I have seen so far, that screams "next-gen" to me, at least on a purely graphical basis, is Horizon:FW.

How many launch games are there? NBA 2k, CoD and AC:V? AC:V is the best of the bunch. It looked a lot better than Halo was going to, that's for sure.

Can't speak for console, Odyssey is a pretty damn good looking game on PC on Ultra settings. Given that a 2080Ti couldn't come close to 60fps @4k on Ultra settings on AC:Odssey, I suspect the SeX version isn't going to be running at "Ultra" equivalent.

A quick visit to EA's website shows that EA Play Pro seems to be Origin only...
