General Gaming What are you playing today?

You did nothing to help my understanding of why a game that plays so poorly sold so well. -

I never asked a question. I said that after playing the game, I couldn't understand why the game was so popular for so long. -

That doesn't make the driving, flying of helicopters, controls and combat any more fun does it? -

What makes GTA Online play better than the single player game? -
Online requirements were controversial 10 years ago. In 2023, there are only a small group of people who care.

Finished GTAV last week (for the first time). I really don't understand how that game was so popular for so long. Playing Control now -- VERY pretty game. I'm a little iffy on the combat so far -- but as I'm still opening up powers, there is still a long way to go. -
@stepee is never satisfied with "sufficient".

The Corsair H150i Elite Cappellix (the 360)-- partially because it was available to buy locally, and partially because they had a factory refurb for less than half the price of a new one. The rads and pumps are pretty standard, so the difference between brands comes down to aesthetic choices (both looks, and RGB controls). Having the thermal paste pre-applied, makes the install really easy relative to a huge fan (where you need to apply the paste, and then try and squeeze around the fins to tighten it down).

I put an AIO in my current build, and I found it significantly easier to install to the MB than the large CPU fan I put in my last build (6 years ago). A new AIO is also similar in price to buying a Huge CPU Fan+RGB controller+3 RGB case fans.

Forspoken PC tested: a confusing, deeply disappointing port WWW.EUROGAMER.NET Alex Battaglia takes on the PC port of Forspoken, which is unfortunately rife with issues that hamper a sometimes enjoyable game with fast loading times.

The last "hugely successful" Halo game was more than 15 years ago -- and it has been on a downward spiral since. Given the development team that made that game has gone on to bigger and better things (i.e. Destiny), is there any reason to believe 343 should continue with Halo? Or try and create something new?

PC Cyberpunk 2077 - Ray-tracing: Overdrive Mode releasing on April 11
AbsolutSurgen replied to Mr.Vic20's topic in The Spawn Point
Don't worry RT Overdrive will kill the FPS. -
According to NPD, Halo 4 was the 3rd best selling game of 2012. Excluding Minecraft, that was the last time Microsoft/Xbox developed a game that was in the top 10 selling games of the year. Since NPD started reporting the top 20 best selling games in 2018, the only game in the top 20 was Forza Horizon 5 (20th in 2021). (Sony has had 7 in the top 10 since then. Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, God of War, God of War: Ragnarök, Horizon: FW, TLOU: 2, Ghost of Tsushima)

A top-tier release (Forza 7), along with a couple of lower-tier games is miles ahead of 2022. I should have been more clear. IMHO, Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon are two completely different franchises that just happen to share car assets. Every two years was probably too frequent. Every 6 years is definitely not frequent enough. They could probably find something in between.
