My PS+ subscription ended a few months ago. I liked the games they offered but what a bunch of assholes for locking the games on me now. They gave it out for free, it should stay fucking free. If it weren’t for the few exclusives they have (Ratchet and Clank and God of War in particular) I would be more then happy with my Series X/PC with gamepass. It’s kinda sad seeing PS5 getting all the hype because the Xbox with gamepass kicks ass of anything Sony is offering.

Just finished reading (finally) Dave Grohl’s The Storyteller It’s a fun read with a lot of “it’s a fucking small world” moments that keep happening to him. Fun stories from childhood, early band/travels, Nirvana, his kids/mom, musician encounters/friendships and about being a convicted felon in Australia (won’t ruin it) Now I’m reading his mom’s book and her interviews with parents of other musicians.

I don’t spend anything on my games and don’t really see myself doing so either. I just did the trick to renew my UGP for 3 years for less then $200cnd and I somehow got $100 from Microsoft last year in my wallet on my system. (giveaway for their 20th anniversary I believe) Anyways I find it even harder now with gamepass to even spend that free money on a game, which i now wonder “when” it will be free to play on gamepass. I bought Guardians of the Galaxy (great game and don’t really regret buying) and now it’s on gamepass only a few months later. Hard for me to consider any new disc/digital game release on Xbox as a purchase when it can be free to play on gamepass.

Well in Ontario we lifted the mandate on Monday but I would guess +70% are still wearing their mask in stores/malls. I’m still wearing mine when out in public and mostly at work. We have a lot of slow periods and it’s just me and one other guy working and feel ok maskless around. I’m sort of in a sit and wait mode and agree that we should of waited the 2 weeks after people have return from a busy March break (spring break) travel week outside of the country. It almost feels like “we’re close, don’t fuck it up and play it safe” Wish my sleep were better as it’s been shit all week with constant 2:30-3:00am waking up full of energy and I just went to bed sometimes an hour or 2 beforehand. Back to my weed not doing much for me either, not even my ol’ reliable Chocolate Mint OG strain isn’t doing it for me. I’ll sleep when I’m dead I guess

I should of mentioned the woman in the video in the wider shots, still had that actor in front of a blue screen movie effect. I love the demo but she seem like a blue screen actor with the world animated around them. The table and chess board/pieces look like they were also filmed with her and everything else was added afterwards and combined into one piece

I would of sworn everything was demo minus her and the board. HOLY FUCK that is pretty damn impressive for textures on her face and the weight of the chess piece when she bumped it. I think for cut scenes in a game, this would be amazing but too much for say a shooter. I think if they did make a FPS look that impressive, you’re gonna get PTSD like a real war soldier. Especially if you got the sound system for it too still though. . . . WOW!

Sure we have sport cards we collected as kids or hot wheels/legos. I mean something not typically collected but you do for some odd reason. Mine would be that I have tried to hang onto all my movie theatre ticket stubs. I believe I started doing this since Tomorrow Never Dies hit my local cheapie theatre. Still remember being evacuated from the building 5 minutes into the film for a false fire alarm at the little mall. Told to hang onto your ticket for reentry and kinda stuck. I really hate that most tickets are now digital thanks to Covid. (also do the same for concerts/sporting events too)
