Does it seem like you run into more batshit crazy people lately?

Pop on some headphones and let the crazy drift by you without a care in the world. -
General Gaming Best Buy gets in on that sweet, sweet scalping money.

I've been in a queue since June. They made some adjustments recently, so I'm hopeful that I might get notified soon. -
Nintendo Exclusive: Bloomberg learned at least 11 game developers, ranging from large publishers to small studios and include at least one that has never made a console game before, Zynga Inc., were in possession of Nintendo’s 4K development kit for the Switch.

Every time a better version of the Switch is hinted at with credible proof, Nintendo delays its rise by a year. -
I put 350 hours into Dead Cells. I had absolutely no idea I'd be spending that much time playing it when I bought it. It's an awesome game, but can be... errr... time consuming... if you're aiming to fully complete it. To clarify, I didn't complete it strictly out of some compulsion to 100% the game. I put that much time in to it because it was fun as hell to try.

Webbed on Steam STORE.STEAMPOWERED.COM Swing through the trees, spin sticky webs, and make friends with bugs! Be the adorable spider you've always wanted to be. This released earlier this month. I played the demo a while back and it was pretty fun. It was quite satisfying swinging around making webs, catching flies, finding things, dancing with moths, riding on a skateboard... regular spider stuff. Also, 97% recommended on Steam isn't too bad. -
General Gaming Outdated gaming mechanics.

I believe the forced walk / slow down is sometimes done to allow assets to load? Or maybe in thinking of when your character has to slowly squeeze through some narrow passage. Either way, hopefully we see less of it in a near future with faster storage devices being standard. -

That was awful! If the wait time was more than an hour or so I usually just checked again later. But I needed those Quake mods, lol. -
I really hope they reduce the amount of booming sounds in the final game. Like when the character stabs an enemy in the stomach then pulls it out (usually after a back stab?), there's an obnoxiously loud boom sound that plays. Or when that weird mutated creature thing starts biting her, each bite makes a weird boom. Just sounds annoying, tbh.

When are they going to add folders? -
Baked beans for breakfast is considered odd? If seen it at a number of breakfast places.

I completely forgot to post those GBA games I bought several months ago... so here they are! They were all loose cartridges (some with manuals), so I put them into DS cartridge cases and printed some cover art. It isn't perfect but I like it. I play them on these bad boys... although the white one stopped working. It used to work on and off, but for some reason I can't get it working anymore. I'll probably fix it when I get a soldering iron... and learn how to solder. Only downside is that since I didn't do any soldering, I have to use headphones / speakers for audio. Not the end of the world, but a minor inconvenience. I almost forgot I also picked this up. I haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but the discs and the case were in surprisingly good condition. I half expected the discs to be more scratched than they appeared in the pictures (It's pretty easy to hide scratches with the right lighting), but they're both in great shape!

Ha, I'm playing it as well. At first using the D-Pad threw me off, and while I'm still not 100% comfortable with it, it plays fine. I'm loving the exploration in this game, and it's growing on me the more I play. The combat itself is alright. While the melee counter attack is fun, it's a bit overused. It's the best strategy for nearly every enemy I've encountered. My hype for Dread has gone up since playing this.

I played a demo during one of the Steam festivals, and something about the combat felt very off (I don't remember if it was the controls, the hitboxes, or something else entirely). It seems like it could be really cool, so I'd be willing to try a newer demo to see if it feels any different now. But based on the demo I played it's a hard pass for me.

Nintendo Riptide cancels Project+ Smash Tournament

Obviously a joke but somewhat relevant. Comments are also funny. Although it's kind of sad that some people would believe picture + text without question because it's dramatic... -

Thank you for triggering the PC release. ❤ -
So I beat Metroid Zero Mission... it was alright. I think much of my enjoyment was hampered by the tiny screen and device I'm playing on. I think it'll be a while before I play another game on this.
