I'm thinking about making a thread to give away the extra codes that I have. I have a lot, and it would also help me keep track of what I already gave away.

Not quite retro, but whatever. I snagged a sealed copy of Dragon Quest VIII for 3DS on Amazon (Canada) for $52 CAD, shipped from and sold by Amazon. I think MSRP was $49? I have no clue why they suddenly had 2 in stock, but I normally see this for like $120-$160 for complete (open) copies. I almost bought an open copy for about $100 on Ebay a couple of months ago. So glad I waited. This was pure luck, too. I took it off my wishlist ages ago since they only had 3rd party sellers selling it for like $170+, but they had it as a suggestion at the bottom of the page while browsing something else.

Does EGS indicate anywhere when a game incorporates Denuvo? I see it on indicated on the Steam page for Forspoken, but not on EGS. Also, $93.49 CAD, LOL they can fuck off with that.

We all have a rough idea, based on what's listed on the reservation. I'm Q2, so I know I'm not getting it in February.

What does the protection plan cover? Considering how often people accidentally damage their phone, I'm surprised it's not covered. My sister used to have a plan with her phone service provider, and they even covered her when she dropped her phone in a lake. She got it out, but it didn't exactly work after, lol.

Apparently their service going down can affect your ability to play the games on the Epic Games Launcher. Just counted, and I have 93 games, but I payed for none. Well, except for the Control DLC I bought from Humble.

I loved the old Splinter Cell games back on the OG Xbox. However, my gut tells me this is going to have that 'Ubisoft feel' that all of there open world games have, and I got sick of that years ago. I have no faith in this being done well.

I was waiting to find out the prices for those. 😜 But looking at what they currently sell for on ebay, I might just hold off and decide whether or not to get any of them after I'm done with my holiday shopping.

I'd put my money on my Steam Deck arriving first.

This is very discouraging. I'm still waiting for EVGA to tell me when one is available... I've been in the queue since June. If this doesn't pan out I can see myself moving away from getting "graphically intense" games on PC in the future.

So there's no way to customize controls in the full game? That's extremely disappointing. Hopefully they patch in that feature at some point, or even have multiple control schemes to choose from. I played the demo for a bit, but there were a few controls I really want to swap around.

How much for Dragon Quest IV, Dragon Quest V and Dragon Quest VI?
