  1. @stepee I doubt this is happening to you, but is it? When I'm playing Street Fighter in work tour mode specifically NVIDIA control panel and a bunch of stuff crash. It's odd.
  2. Because I'm a like @Phaseknox I made a woman. With this game there are a lot of people making disgusting freaks, but as Max pointed out (It's ok to bring up Max again since @Bacon mentions him) people aren't dedicated to their freaks. They have a secondary. So I don't want to make myself because I don't want to look at myself, I don't want to look at a freak, so I just go in a different direction. (That was the character back there in the d1p hoodie) Seems pretty good almost globally unless you're playing someone in China then it gets a bit iffy.
  3. Let's drop it again and see how long we last.
  4. I don't understand pansexuals. How can they enjoy pineapple pizza?

  6. There is an arcade mode which has a story like SFV for each character and you unlock artwork. However, the meat of the game is the world tour mode that has all the characters incorporated into it, with a wider story.
  7. Version 2 is coming, and it will include building! @Mr.Vic20 Creative space with building New Story Content They are finally decoupling PSO2 original from the install and will be separate DLC instead (Until now you had to have both installed, annoyingly except on Playstation) Holograms! Level Cap raised to 75 Easy photo mode Cel Shading mode! Now the part to give @Greatoneshere a rage boner, SAC_2045 collaboration! And you can ride a Tachikoma!
  8. I'm still trying to figure out who I want to play. I was Juri in the beta and I liked her fine but I'm testing the waters with other characters. I wanted to be Lily but seems she's gotta do a lot of chores to be good (which is funny because Juri is the same way) I think the character walktrhoughs in the battle hub do a pretty good job of explaining how to play the characters though. I only did it with Juri but I could see myself doing it with other characters to maybe make me more interested in them.
  9. It is true Genshin is loaded with microtransactions but you don't need to spend 100s dollars a month to "keep up" It's generally a single player game with a lot of single player monthly events but there's no reason to spend money on them. The Battle Pass (Gnostic Hymn) is $9.99 a month and probably a good value early on but after doing it so many times it's not as useful. That being said it's completely reasonable to pay 10 a month for a little bit on this game. If you're a completionist who blows all their primogems trying to roll for every character yeah then you could drop a lot of money into the game, but normal people don't need to do that. As for Bacon's question, I can't really say. It sounded like they were fairly new to the game, but max level, but do raids every week with friends or something. And like I said Genshin is always pumping out fresh content. I could see a person just rolling with those two.
  10. You get free chips and guac from Chipotle if you watch a stream on Twitch. Superior to KFC @Commissar SFLUFAN
  11. I talked to someone a month or so ago and they played 2 things, FF 14 and Genshin. If I asked if they were interested in playing some other game they would say they only have time for those two. So if that holds true for a lot of FF 14 fans they won't be making the jump.

  13. [Blu-Ray] Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World - (hype) 9/10 After seeing that thread about this movie, I had to reevaluate my life since I hadn't actually seen it and it's also a bannable offense by @Commissar SFLUFAN And I can see why he enjoys it. It's like naval simulator. The film is visceral, bleak and unforgiving. It makes you stare at the screen and wonder why anyone would want to be on one of these ships. There's no super hero Jack Sparrow type stuff in here it's like Saving Private Ryan on the ocean. Moments of joy are quickly stomped out by moments of despair. All that being said it's quite enjoyable. You grow to love the crew through the good times and the bad and that's what the movie is all about.
  14. It's because ever since FFXV when they switched to active battles, they keep the other systems the same. So you're hacking away like an action game, where an enemy should have some hit stun, react and go down fairly easily but the game is like a Final Fantasy game that you mash on the enemy that has no reaction and soaks up the damage till you deplete some huge life bar.
  15. I like to go by the Jeff Grubb metric of success. Luigi's Mansion 3 sold 13 million copies. If you game makes that number it's a successful game.
  16. It worked but they also splintered off the old style onto Judgement, and also kept bringing out Yakuza games in the old style. It will be interesting to see if actually works out the next time an actual new Yakuza game comes out.
