Email from MoviePass today: I love how they send this email out a week after implementing this bullshit and everybody already figured it out. I've had so many blackouts for both movies and individual showtimes when I've tried to go this week that I was pretty sure I was going to cancel. But after this and the scummy thing they did re-upping people who didn't read a lengthy ToS I'm 100% cancelling the day before my billing cycle renews. You'll also notice on that movie schedule that even a month after its release, Mission Impossible still isn't available to see with MoviePass.

The Packers

Well, we do enjoy a lot of the same TV at least. And in terms of other entertainment we enjoy similar music. Movies are where we differ though.

Holy shit. The Redskins one had the most poignant yet obvious bit I've ever read in one of these. And it's fucking true. These are your Washington Redskins. Forget the Cousins fiasco, and Jay Gruden losing his playsheet anytime the offense gets into the red zone, and Jamison Crowder trying to catch balls with hands made of fucking plexiglass. All of those failures exist to distract you from the much deeper human failures that go on behind the scenes. The Skins exist so that Skin Jung Un (thank you) can drink Crown Royal on private airplanes and so Bruce Allen can get loaded in his office and so any number of hunchbacked goblins passing through can cozy up with Snyder and ram their hands up a cheerleader’s skirt. They are a meeting ground for fucking pigs, and nothing more. They are emblematic of an America run by rich dickheads who stomp and cry and piss and moan and actively destroy lives anytime someone doesn’t give them what they want. Over the past two years I have marveled at the sheer number of horrible people who hold positions of unfathomable power in this country. How are they so fucking evil? And how are there so MANY of them? They are conscienceless and they are EVERYWHERE now, selling every last piece of the country away for flash money, and they always make sure to pass through Snyder’s luxury box to play kissy-face with a man who makes an ideal stand-in for all of them. Dan Snyder is worthless pile of shit and I hope he chokes on a lit Cohiba. Seriously fuck this organization. From this to their shitty name I want them to lose every fucking game.

Just got out. So good. I loved the duality in all of the lead characters and how that was played with quite a bit. The contrasting shots/scenes and everything. Just brilliant. It's like you don't care at all about Mother Earth!

Any reason they're waiting until Spring for that?

Which still leaves them 60% too expensive and an additional ticket at 8.99 is the same as regular price without being a member. I'm still not seeing the appeal of their offerings.

I'm not as saavy as you on this obviously soñince this is your bread and butter so break it down for me. Who is it geared towards? Sinemia (or however you spell it) has a lower price with more or equal movies per month depending on the plan you pick. Moviepass is pretty much the same price but for more movies. From what I'm looking at CM Movie Club's perks consist of a 20% discount on concessions that still leaves them 60% too expensive, "discounted" tickets that are $9 a piece (we refer to that as "full price" here, lol), and one 2d ticket per month that can rollover... which is meaningless if you're looking at the other options.

Cinemark's plan is laughably terrible compared to the competition.
