This clip is not only from the best Rick and Morty episode, but it is one of the greatest sci-fi concepts ever. This clip doesn't contain the funniest moments of the episode but it introduces you to the awesome concept.

I've been rewatching the Office a little (thanks a lot) and I'm now convinced that one of the cringiest moments on the show is when Holly thinks that Kevin is retarded and starts sticking up for him when Angela is yelling at him.

I don't know that there are any nationwide chains that serve authentic Mexican food. So that's not terribly surprising.

Operation Finale - 8/10 - I needed to wash the taste of Peppermint out of my mouth (ironic because I actually love that flavor) so I went for some Oscar bait. And it was pretty good. The entire cast was fantastic and the suspenseful moments were there. I thought it worked well. Oscar Isaac is quickly becoming my favorite actor.

The movie seems almost racist in its joy of killing stereotypical Mexicans (and other non-whites) straight from Central Casting. The score is awful. The cinematography and editing were pulled right out of Man on Fire which would have been cool in 2003 but nowadays just makes you nauseous. The action was poorly shot—the movie is rated fucking R and it still cuts away or has the gory bits off screen. I mean the script has 1000 "fucks" in it so you're getting the R rating and you know it. Why not just go all out?

New stuff still sounds great but it's very verse chorus verse chorus as opposed to their early material which is much more thought out and less formulaic. Also their new guitar player is hot AF.

Baroness - Blue Record (2009) - 9/10 For some reason I decided to start listening to Baroness even though I'd never really listened to them before. I've gone through their entire discography. Earlier stuff is better obviously, but the clear standout in their collection is Blue Record. After the intro track it goes right into "The Sweetest Curse" which reminds me of early Mastodon (both from Georgia so yeah) but they infuse a ton of melody into this sludgy soup of a song and it's delicious. I also really like the tracks "A Horse Called Golgotha" and "War, Wisdom, and Rhyme". My only complaint about the album is that they don't linger long enough on some of the brilliant moments. My favorite part of this whole album is the one-two punch of "Blackpowder Orchard" and "The Gnashing"; starting with a charming twangy southern instrumental that only lasts a minute when I would have loved to hear that idea develop some more. It is followed by a happy-heavy headbanger that has a brief but brilliant vocal section towards the end. I need more of that shit man.

Peppermint - 3/10 - This shitty industrial goth generock from the soundtrack is everything you need to know about this piece of shit movie.

Holy shit this fucking rules. One-man band with better production than 90% of established acts. Love it.

Whenever I want to feel just the slightest bit less bad about the shitty racists in my neck of the woods I think of Europe.

The finale was terrible because every single person you ever met in the show gets their wildest dreams fulfilled. Even people who don't deserve it. Lazy and lame.

Here's some victim blaming for you: That's what happens when you make music dependent on face time and radio play. Justin wanted to keep playing the game. Janet did not. Good for her.

No pointing continuing. If you don't like it by now you won't like its less funny successors. Also side note: that show has one of the worst season finales ever made. And it caps off a pretty bad last season.

Or, you know, "Zombie".

So this is basically the government selling hunting permits at a reasonable price then? Let's do it!

Almost Famous - 10/10 - God I love everything about this movie.

All the stuff mentioned in the article might be played for horrific or played for funny. Or anything in between. I don't think we can know without seeing the movie.
