  1. I didn't know you could use the same letter twice. Bullshit.
  2. Throw that shit on the ground and let the ants eat it.
  3. Seriously almost everyone around me is testing positive for Covid. I feel like our household could get it any day at this rate. My wife babysat a friend's 1 year old baby 2 days ago. Today the baby got a fever. The mom, dad, and baby all just got rapid tests and are positive for Covid. Couple other friends on Facebook are all saying they are positive with mild symptoms. My wife was close to the baby while she was here, holding her and such. The baby wasn't coughing. She was never all up in her face or anything. Not sure how worried we should be right now...
  4. Finally got around to watching this. The beginning was kind of cool. Half way through and by the end..... ehhhh. Feel like this movie doesn't need to exist. None of the action scenes felt very memorable either. Meh.
  5. We were there from 9:30am-1:30pm, they did a strep throat test which came back positive. That surprised us because he hasn't been around many people since being off school with the holidays. They did a Covid test but we won't have results for 2-7 days. The Dr we saw said a lot of people coming in the last week and a half have been positive with strep and a fairly large amount have tested positive for both strep and Covid at the same time. We got an antibiotic at CVS that took almost 5 hours to fill(just picked it up). One poor lady working the whole pharmacy alone. Said it was just her all day.
  6. Woke up at 8:30am, son came down shortly after with a headache, sore throat, and fever of 100.8 degrees. Currently sitting at an urgent care center to get tested. Been here 2 hours now. It's fucking packed with people.
  7. Never had a dream where I was in a game. Only gaming related one I can think of was when I was probably 7 years old, my friend came over with Super Mario Bros for the NES. I only owned part 3 at the time. That night I went to bed and had an extremely vivid dream of opening my NES and seeing the game still inside. I woke up so excited feeling like he definitly left the game in there and I'd be able to play it for the next couple days. It was not
  8. I don't know the working conditions for all employees at Door Dash. Could a few of them potentially be like game developers who are forced to work 60-80 hours a week? In that case I'd be pissed too that I also have to squeeze in even just one delivery.
  9. I pulled the tv off the wall last night and put them on. I really like it. I didn't use the orange blocks at all with the calibration. I temporarily taped the camera to the top of the tv and it worked good but I think I want to try installing it on the bottom. The tv is too thin on top, barely any of the 3M tape is going to hold it there. Worked well enough to try it out though and i was impressed. The camera does a great job, doesn't feel like much lag at all. I skipped through parts of the Angelina Jolie movie "Those Who Wish Me Dead" on HBO. One scene they are running through a field trying not to get struck by lightning. Every time the lightning flashed, the leds flashed perfect with the lightning on screen even in that split moment. Instead of "surround sound", it felt like surround lighting for the TV haha.
  10. My wife's cousin drove up from Florida to visit, he got here on Wednesday. Wed night he got a fever of 102 degrees. Got tested, positive for Covid. Had Christmas eve dinner at my parents house yesterday which I usually enjoy...but it was very messy this year. Have a sister with a drug addiction. Can't hold a job, car in desperate need of a repair, hasn't paid car insurance for 3 months, car registration is expired, all she wants to do is door dash. Then my 80 year old grandma.... had some bathroom... issues I guess you could say. I won't go into too many details but we asked if everything was OK or if she needed anything, but she insisted everything was totally fine, all while none of us could breathe for the last half hour she was there and the bathroom was left in an absolute mess. Last night a neighbor brought over tamales that look just like what @sblfilms posted. They were amazing! Today was a lot better and more relaxing. Had some family members over. Everybody was vaccinated, some had their boosters, but there was a lot of talk about how many friends of theirs have tested positive this week with Covid.
  11. My wife and I have felt a little overwhelmed by stuff going on the last 2 days. We are totally fine. But a lot of little things have happened that it's become more of a sad Christmas. I'll post a little later when I have more time.
  12. As a MGS fan, I enjoyed the game back then and would gladly pay to play it again. I think the first person view slightly broke the game because you could look around an area and basically snipe everyone who would normally be out of view. I don't remember that getting in the way at all though.
  13. 2 movies I liked (maybe not loved, but still like) was: -The Boy in the Striped Pajamas -End of Watch (2 scenes in particular freaked me out at the time) . Just the way the movie was filmed in that "found footage" sort of way made it feel too real for me. I liked both movies at the time, but I don't have an urge to revisit them.
  14. @johnny Hey that looks pretty good! Mine just came in the mail today as well. Not sure if I'll get them put on tonight yet. I love the concept of it. Looks like it makes the tv bigger. Like the tv's colors are bleeding into the walls.
  15. I think a nicely defined chin/jawline is pretty attractive on a girl.
  16. I'm not really into necks but i do notice them a lot with women on tv. You can tell the celebrities or news anchors that have had work done on their face or use a ton of make up. Their face looks nice, tight, and smooth. But then you see their neck and it's like a wrinkled saggy mess. Not literally a mess, but the neck just doesn't match the face at all.
  17. My order just says "Order Received" right now. No mention of a date yet.
  18. Sounds a lot better than sticking blocks to the screen. Did you see that pic on Amazon of the person that broke their tv screen? I mean there's a chance the person just did something dumb, but I'll gladly not bother using them.
  19. I also ended up buying it earlier this afternoon. After reading the one review I'll make sure to be careful with those orange block things that stick to the screen for calibration. One or two mentioned they were hard to get off and one person literally broke their TV screen lol.
  20. Hmm the 55"-65" has a $20 coupon. Damn Spork might have me spending money now. I really like it, just not sure how I feel about the camera sticking out.
  21. I always wanted an OLED but I lived with fear of burn in for like 10 years with my plasma. Just couldn't do it again. Now my kids would be the one burning something into the screen. I'll come home to something paused on the screen that they were watching 3 hours ago and everybody just up and left the room.
