IMO, VR is likely going to be a fad for gaming with the exception of stuff where you're inside a vehicle (or stationary, if not). Racing sims or flight sims (or combat equivalent) are amazing in VR. But if you have to walk and aim in different directions, VR controls aren't nearly as good as regular gaming.

Also it's funny to see people think that once McCarthy is elected Speaker on the 12th round that things will magically just go smoothly for the GOP. You think they are going to have a stable majority and work together? lol. If you enjoyed the UK Conservative mess of the last two years, prepare for the same in the US House!

I work from home 60% of the time, and with this new monitor I will have: 1 x 27" 1440p (Freesync) 1 x 27" 1440p (Gsync) So, I'll be using the new monitor for gaming, but both monitors for productivity. I considered going ultrawide, but I prefer to just have two monitors. -

I'm building my new PC this week, and I am sticking with 1440p (165hz) for the next 5-year cycle. 4k is impressive, but for me I'd much rather have high, stable refresh rates. My build (assembling this weekend): 5800x3D 6950 XT 32GB DDR4 3600hz MSI Mag B550 Tomahawk mobo LG 27GP83B-B monitor (27" 1440p 165hz) Bunch of M.2 and other SSDs -

Finally got around to seeing this and loved it. Love how Radcliffe plays it straight, and all the little absurd bits (like Beat It being a parody of Eat It, and not the other way around). -

More attacks on Kyiv right now. So far 16 drones shot down. The good news is that Ukraine is reporting the Iris-T system has been 100% effective. Also, Ukraine struck a barracks in Donetsk where 600 Russian troops were housed (formerly a school). Unfortunately for the soldiers, Russian had put ammo in the building as well, and the HIMARS blew the entire building up.

Sitting in the ICU with my wife, her cousin OD'd on coke laced with fentanyl. NARCAN didn't work, but he somehow survived. Waiting to see if his kidneys are still able to function. Drug situation is horrible.
