Went to my Aunt's last night. I was feeling a little under the weather. Had a little fever, but it was great to see some family that I haven't seen in awhile. She had a nice spread of lasagna, veggie lasagna, Italian sausage, ham, lot of desserts. It all looked good, but I couldn't smell or taste much, unfortunately. We did our silly Christmas game, swig and belch, where we pass around a pitcher of beer, take a drink and try to let out the biggest burp. We also celebrated my son's birthday. He's only 2, so we all had to help him blow out his trick, relighting candles. He had a fun time. My daughter did, too. They behaved fantastically. All in all, was a great evening.

It's a great movie, but I'm probably good on 'The Green Mile'. Both the end and the post-end were pretty sad... made even more so that the gentle giant, MCD, is no longer with us. Also, seconding Bacon, 'Saving Private Ryan' for similar reasons.

This news makes me sad.

You know what, I'm going to say the neck as well. When I used to hit the club scene, there would be a sea of women and I would find myself drawn to the ones with nice, well-defined adam's apples. Not sure why, but it would really get my juices flowing.

The first half of the trailer, I thought it was going to be a slower moving drama about moral redemption or some such, but then he has to 'open him up' and it becomes my kind of movie.

The show probably should've ended a couple of seasons ago. As an 80s kid, I enjoyed it, but I feel it overstayed it's welcome. Disappointing to hear about Garlin's behavior. He was never my favorite character, but he kind of grounded the show when Adam, Barry and mom were getting a little silly.

This is what I was worried about. They took quite awhile building up to something big in a limited-run series. I haven't seen Loki or episode 5 of this yet, though.

Where does this fit into the MCU? I saw Rocket in a cage without any gear.

It started like it could've been a feel good thread about finding love in unexpected places, but turned into a weird mix of personal issues and underhanded jabs. So I vote for the 'doesn't matter to me' option.

Thought the last episode dragged a bit/got a little silly, but it was still a nice watch.

They probably do this to get a new group of subscribers and then cancel the shows because they knew they were too expensive, while still maintaining a handful of the new group of subscribers that didn't bother to cancel.

I loved them. They managed to navigate the new PC climate while still maintaining their own 'brand' of humor. I did have a few laugh out loud moments, but maintained a smile throughout both episodes. The news footage montage bit with Kanye West playing was great.

Oh, cool. I was hoping someone would bump this drunken pregnancy announcement. Kids are both good, difficult and adorable. Thank you. My son has cerebral palsy, which is a bit challenging. It's mild and he's doing very well with therapy and school, so he'll be okay. Daughter turned 3 in November (was 10 days late. They had to induce). She's a handful, but smart as a whip. Son will be 2 at the end of this month (he came 2 months early). He's a funny little guy and working hard. And I think the Minnesota Fatz in this thread may have been 'another' poster in this thread 😀

This is too funny. I was about to make a similar thread, asking if I should upgrade my 32'' crt to a 36'' plasma that I saw on Marketplace for 40 bucks. I don't like to brag, but my Cardano went up almost 2% today, so I have almost 73 dollars extra to spend.
