    Ouch, looks like they discontinued my TV stand from them. It was the last of the deep television stands. Game consoles, Blu ray players, etc will fit fine in most Ikea units, but they're all so shallow now, you'll be out of luck if you use a receiver since it'll either hang off the back, or you'll need to cut/remove the false wall in the back for cable space.

    I doubt they pulled an Amazon. PS4 and Switch launches through them were as smooth as butter.

    Best Buy has always been fantastic for shipping games and consoles so that they arrive to your house the day they officially release. I always prefer pre-ordering from them due to their consistent shipping speeds and reward points.

    Looks like GameStop will have more available for pre-order tomorrow, but no time has been announced yet. PS5s will be available to preorder tomorrow at GameStop WWW.THEVERGE.COM GameStop will restocking Sony’s next-gen console again on September 25th.

    When I worked for GameStop, our piece of shit manager would always take the pre-order bonuses and pretend they never came in.

    Atlus was asking fans last year if they'd like to see Persona on other platforms. I'd imagine whatever is going on has to do with Sega brining some of its popular titles to Xbox. They didn't really give Microsoft all that much attention this generation. I doubt the company is interested in selling right now as they're doing quite well.

    That looks every bit as awful as I imagined it would look sitting horizontal in an entertainment center. Also, the fact the stand cannot be removed makes it all the worse.

    I did some measuring and my TV stand is ready for the PS5 to enter it with nearly 4 inches to spare on both sides. I feel vindicated for buying the the only entertainment center at Ikea that was deep enough to fit a receiver without it hanging out the back.

    It does have a lot more going on under the hood than past controllers so I'm not surprised.

    They do a temp charge on your card that goes away after around 5 days and then bill you when your item ships as Amazon does.

    Yep, this is one messy launch. I also just saw on Cheap Ass Gamer somebody mentioning a few individuals on Reddit stated their Amazon orders got cancelled. I looked around Reddit, but couldn't locate the said post to confirm if this is true.

    Is Best Buy suddenly deciding now that it's officially the 17th everywhere that they're finally opening the floodgates.

    Just got one through Best Buy after a million clicks. First credit card blocked me from ordering from there, so I had to use a second that required me to enter a code to verify my purchase. By some miracle, despite entering a code, it went through after displaying a blank checkout page for a few minutes. This is honestly the worst console pre-order I've ever had online. The PS4 and Switch were simple to get through Best Buy, but yikes, this was a nightmare. Glad I got it through Best Buy though for the reward points.

    What theatre shutdown there? I live in the Grand Rapids area, but I seldom make my way out to Muskegon.

    Not here, no theater in Michigan is reopening and honestly, I'm quite alright with that. Drive-in options are a far better option for the time being. We have none in my city, but the local chain setup makeshift ones.

    Watching somebody playthrough this game completely turned me off to it. It just seems like a million game types cobbled together instead of focusing on the parts of Battletoads that people liked.
