Same, Sesslers soapbox was such a progressive piece of media that always got people talking. Sessler was also just about the best person the gaming industry could have had as a spokesperson to defend it on cable news networks. He was a pivotal figure in defending the medium when everybody was attempting to use video games as a scapegoat for school shootings. I'd love to see him return to gaming in some capacity. Really? That's disappointing to learn. I never pictured him as being an ass. The only individual from The Screensavers I still follow is Patrick Norton. His AVexcel podcast is very solid. Quite friendly on Twitter too.

One of the Yakuza fan sites informed me on Twitter a while back it would be getting a physical release on the PS5. I'm such a sucker for physical media, I figure it's worth the wait even if it means I have to endure the jet engine of the Blu ray drive on the PS5 while it installs. Besides, the fact Sega stating the saves won't transfer over made me feel like waiting in general.

Why did this game have to review so well. I just don't enjoy turn based combat anymore, but it's Yakuza and it's tempting me. I'll probably breakdown and buy it once it's released on the PS5.

I think I may need to call an exorcist because my PlayStation 5 may be possessed. In all seriousness, it unfortunately appears my PS5 is a dud. I cannot even play Astro's Playroom now as it just hardlocks my console. My PS5 did have the coil whine others reported, but it also made a high pitched whistling sound in select games leading me to wonder if something more was going on with it and it looks like my hunch was right.

Apparently Descenders for PlayStation 4 turns my PS5 into a the sound of a whistling steam kettle.
