  1. I'll bite, what's the greatest superhero movie ever made.
  2. I like the co-op events because everyone has collectively decided that the best way to win is to crash the shit out of the AI cars.
  3. I'm upset at how much I'm enjoying this. They did a great job with the Miami pastel vibe in the original series, and they're doing just as well with the northwoods aesthetic.
  4. So I'm partway through the second episode, and I'm impressed at how good the show has been. One trope I absolutely hate is having every teen dude just be a complete dickbag. It's tired and should've stayed dead after The Breakfast Club killed it 36 years ago. It would honestly be so unexpected and refreshing to see some kids in letterman jackets just not be awful.
  5. I loved hereditary and also found that scene funny in a naturalistic sort of way. It was abrupt and anticlimactic but also a totally reasonable reaction. "Yeah, this is fucked, I'm out."
  6. Einstein was my favorite secondary character on the show and I miss him greatly. I wasn't initially sold on Vaughn but have come to enjoy him on the show.
  7. I kind of have to watch everything with subtitles and I absolutely hate it in comedies. I always read the joke before it's spoken and in that half second of lag time the joke loses half of its power.
  8. After six episodes I feel like the show is good but moves a little too fast for its own good. At this point with the exception of Viktor, I'm confused about everyone's motivation or exactly how they think their actions will achieve their goals. I'm getting strong "actually right" vibes from Silco, but I'm not sure whether or not the show is being coy about explaining his goals or if it thinks the vague flashbacks we've gotten so far are sufficient explanation. Also did I miss something or did they just never explain the leap in logic that lead Caitlyn to find Vi. As I understand it Caitlyn found that there was no reason for Vi's incarceration listed, so she assumed that Vi was somehow involved in the recent attacks? The animation is great and the fight scenes are surprisingly brutal considering the source material is a game made for intellectually challenged children.
  9. I'm trying to get over my LoLphobia and watch this since people seem to be loving it, but starting with an Imagine Dragons song is killing my very limited goodwill.
  10. I feel like IGN gets too much flack nowadays. It's of course better to get your opinions from people whose taste matches your own, but IGN reviews are pretty good for getting a general feel for a game's quality.
  11. What made you decide on Huel rather than the myriad other meal replacement powders? I'm using it for a different purpose, but the only way I heard of it was from a youtuber I like who shilled for it.
  12. This game really really really needs to bring back the red reticle at ranges where the aim assist is active. I think a lot of my frustration with it is just trying to use weapons beyond their effective range. Also there's a bug where if you press enter with the keyboard rather than start on a controller on the initial splash screen, aim assist is disabled until you restart the game.
  13. Yeah, I've heard a lot of competitive players are still on controller and figured they must've found some settings that work, since the default feels awful.
  14. So much of 40k glorifies Nazism that I don't think any amount of work on the part of GW or the playerbase will be able to rid it of the association. You just can't really have shit like this in your game and claim you're not courting the wrong crowd. Warhammer is cool and all, but apart from my lack of patience and artistic talent, this is a big reason I know I will never pursue it as a hobby.
  15. Also the online racing is pretty great. They've got a good system for reducing griefing while still allowing drivers to interact.
  16. My only critique of portal 2 is that portal was slightly more flawless.
  17. So I watched Dune (1984) and I now hate David Lynch and Kyle MacLachalan.
