I don't want to speak for all kids, but my kids have always found these super boring and lame.

 

This is from a different era in entertainment. When we were kids we didn't have immediate and unlimited access to thousands of hours of amazing quality children programming... so seeing something like a Peanuts special once a year was something that was actually comforting and familiar...

 

Todays kids? Ha. Good luck.

 

I hate how everyone abandoned cable and now we have to subscribe to like a dozen different things to have access to all the entertainment. Having all these siloed streaming services with different exclusive content sucks. Boo I say.

More high quality content is being created now because of these streaming services so i think it's a huge win.
