I'm not getting excited about this until I know if it's going to be more like Outbreak, or if it's gonna be another Operation Raccoon City.

 

I would personally love an online RE in the style of Outbreak, especially now that it wouldn't be on PS2 over a DSL connection.

Re online was the reason I bought a network adapter for ps2 and a keyboard. But rented the game.

outbreak was fun but had its flaws. I would love a revisit.  I am looking for someone to play 6 with.

I'm willing to bet it's analogous to Mr. X being controlled by a fifth player. The person hitting the buttons and levers is going to be a "dungeon master" because of course they're going to give us something nobody asked for.

There's no way this is not gonna be a trainwreck. They couldn't even manage to keep it from looking like a crowded jumble of clipping while three people crammed into one tiny room and shot at the ONE enemy. At first I thought it was captured footage from a beta or something but it's Capcom's official gameplay trailer.
