Correct, they just license these for international distribution on their platform in countries outside of Japan and that means waiting just as if it was Funimation or another US anime licensing company doing it. Netflix's turnaround times are fast, though I feel the dubs sometimes suffer a little as a result.

I watch them subbed when I watch them, so I’ve never noticed.

It shouldn't be a problem with Hathaway. Sunrise handles their dubs and subs.

I don't mind subs. Sometimes I watch something while I'm doing something else or I'm watching when I'm laying down, in which case reading subtitles is a bit inconvenient.
