    Yeah I miss the assassination being a big deal. The first game was cool how you had to find intel on where they’d be, the movement of the guards, shift changes and then even the escape afterwards was fun. I don’t wanna go all the way back but Id be nice if they could add some of that back in a more refined way.

    Yeah Theaters will never die because they offer something, no matter how much money you spend, you can’t recreate at home. They’re def about to change though. If that means we can more smaller independent theaters or more Alamo Draft House type theaters, sign me up.

    I’d guess that given that Mandolorian is just about 10 years after Rebels...Ashoka is back, Thrawn has been mentioned, AND we saw those whale things as a kind of nod...Ezra makes a lot of sense. But I agree that the kid will stay with Mando and any Jedi will be a cameo. I don’t think we see Grogu going down the full Jedi path. Seeing Cal would also be very cool and lend even more legitimacy to the that story being part of the Canon

    Lol that top pic is me through most of the SW movies. It’s amazing how often they miss the emotional mark. Thankfully Madalorian sticks the landing on those every time.

    Well that was awesome! Sooo the Dark Troopers are Robots? Based on their need of baby Yoda I assumed they were going to be like special forces that could use the force a bit. Like Inquisitors but more on the soldier side than sith side.

    Took down 3-1 last night. Really enjoyed that level. Not a ton of enemies but still a good amount of suspense. I didn’t see the interesting solution to the boss though? Unless you meant the way you properly identify it? Then yeah that took me a few minutes before I noticed it haha

    Yeah it’s core is Germanic but it’s a mix of Germanic and Romance which is probably why it’s so stupid with nonsensical rules lol

    Thanks. Im in the same boat. I really want the LotT 4K. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Hobbit movies but I didn’t hate them. So I wouldn’t mind skipping them. But IF Jackson reworks them and the CGI in some way. Then I’d def wait to see how that turns out to get the full 6 movie collection.

    Yeah def took me a bit to realize I wasn’t supposed to just keep going in each world, that you need to bounce around. So that’s an interesting twist. Trying to figure out where to go next when it’s more than just “go towards A or go towards B”

    Oh I wasn’t taking a shot at her. I like her. I was just saying as the person who achieved the most main stream success of anyone on the that channel. She could have easily just gone the route of pretending she didn’t get her start on some nerdy talk show for gamers. Kinda like some actors don’t like to acknowledge the early terrible horror movies they were in. I was appreciating she didn’t and makes me like her even more.

    Kind of a dumb thing but it was nice to see Olivia there and that she didn’t think she had become “too big” for it. G4 was one of those things I def took for granted and missed greatly when it was gone. Easily my favorite time of year was their E3 coverage. To have a channel that was showing nothing but video game trailers and interviews for 3 days straight was amazing.

    Wife and I binged 8 episodes immediately after Mandolorian. First 6 episodes we were like “ok I get why people like this. It’s a really well made kids show.” Then we hit that two parter in the middle of the season 😳 that was our “OH SHIT now we get the hype” moment.

    Whelp this latest episode finally pushed me over the edge. 5 episodes into Rebels

    That’s exactly what I thought. The samurai influence was fantastic. I love those straight line duels. Also I watched it a second time. There are sparks that fly up every time she hits a trooper with a saber. So saying nothing happens to acknowledge the hit seems a bit much.
