Rogue One(RW) - 9/10 I fucking love this movie. The whole movie is great but my god the final on the beach. The stakes, the self sacrifice everything about it is incredible.

I watched it. It was a solid first effort. I dunno about best PPV since WM18 that’s a little strong lol. But it was good for the most part.

If I can find a “legal stream” I will. But I’m not paying $50 for an unproven product.

I thought that looked pretty dope. The only thing I didn’t like is that the bad Terminator looks more like an IT specialist which kinda takes me out of it lol

Admittedly I haven’t followed this as closely as most of you so please correct me if I’m wrong. But from a strategy standpoint wouldn’t it make more sense to keep him in office? At this point wouldn’t it be easier to defeat Trump in the next election than Pence. The impeachment could not only give the Republicans a sort of “do over” but could also rally their base who would view the impeachment as a further attack.

As the one other language I can actually understand a bit of i def plan to. Brotherhood of the Wolf is one of my favorite movies and it’s sooo much better in its native language.

I honestly don't think Drogon was continuously destroying the throne. I took it that he was obviously angry and heart broken at his mothers death. He can't destroy Jon because he's a Targaryan so instead he just lets out his range near hear. Kind of like all those scenes in movies where you think the good guy is gonna finish the bad guy but instead they punch/shoot next to the bad guy. I'd link that scene from Hot Fuzz but i'm too lazy. The destruction of the throne, while symbolic, was not intentional by Drogon. I dunno, that's how I interpreted that scene.

Just a heads up that last trailer looks like it gives away a lot from the end of the movie.

Had a dragon ever turned on a Targaryon? I assumed the reason Drogon didn't burn Jon was because he couldn't. It seemed they were able to sense that bloodline and thats why Jon was able to get close/ride one etc...

Dothraki were walking around the streets at the end. I guess implying they integrated. Also i love what they did with Sam and democracy. I start rolling my eyes so hard that it was being put in so heavy handedly and then burst out laughing when they dismissed it lol

In what way? There was no leader after her. I doubt the Dothraki would follow Grey Worm and the Unsullied were a very small force at that point.

He simply wanted justice. That’s it. And the other lords basically all collectively told him to chill. What’s he supposed to do. By his last shot he clearly wasn’t happy. Tyrion even said as much. But he took what he could. He’s the commander of a force of what? Like 4K at this point? What’s he supposed to do? He’s got no leverage.

I honestly can’t fully remember but I thought the zombie dragon only blew a hole in it. And in the opening of the show all season the wall is intact except for a hole in it. Yeah I thought it was odd there was a Nights Watch still but I guess it’s kind of better safe than sorry? There’s no reall way to know what exactly else is up beyond the wall so might as well keep your guard up.

Yeah there’s a level of bittersweet tragedy to that. Again with a longer season you could play it out more. Literally my only critique of the season. I think the way they wrapped it up, the decisions for the characters and the basic beats were all phenomenal. Just rushed unfortunetly.

Because your Queen and her giant fucking dragon who basically won battles on their own are gone? So now it’s just a still decimated Unsullied and Dothraki force with no leader against the United 7 Kingdoms? Grey Worm isn’t dumb.

I enjoyed that ending a lot. In no way did I think it would be remotely possible for this show to end well but I think they pulled it off.

The amount of bitching after people have watched the last of their head canon dreams crumble is going to be GLORIOUS tonight!
