    Since you quoted me...I didn't demand anything nor even criticize them. I just said Demon's Souls had crazy options, then remembered it was made by Bluepoint when comparing in my head. And you're implying that Miyazaki being a fan of Lovecraft makes him a racist, how in god's name did you even arrive there?

    Regarding Holy damage. I didn't really get why my Holy Mace doesn't kill the Skeletons. I could only actually kill them with the Holy Sword (or whatever it was called) Art of War. The Mace itself has Holy damage though, I was surprised to see it doesn't kill Skeletons.

    Sure thing. Funny enough, I bought their first vinyl EP of the song Feel It Break when it came out and they kind of discontinued that style immediately. I didn't like the album when it was released because to me, it was a big departure of the goth-y dance thing they were doing. I was wrong though, they wrote some great songs once I got over that. Future Politics kind of gets darker as it goes, what would be the "B Side" is by far my favorite material on that. On another note, I saw them live once in 2013 maybe and they must've had a bad night because it was horrible lol. Edit: I totally for they have a new album about Hiru...whatever. I listened to it once when it came out and didn't like it. I'll try it again soon.

    You might just not be able to. In past games, if you tried to apply lightning to a lightning weapon for example, your dude just did the 'shaking my head you moron' jig.

    I got absolutely destroyed like that last night. Died once so I thought hey let's just quickly ride my horse pal back to that location and sprint by everyone. NOPE. Snipers will crush you if you're on horseback even while sprinting.

    Getting a critical hit openings after a jump attack or guard counter is such simple, yet stupidly satisfying stuff. From really excels at these fine-tunings that seems not that big at first. One of my mistakes when first looking at Elden Ring and the more time I spend with it, the more I see just how intelligently they approach every little change to the formula in this game.

    Yeah, watch out and flank them. Souls going full Sniper Elite Forest Stealth, it's a fantastic shake-up of the usual combat formula. Sneak a lot. Maybe this is obvious to everyone else but do you guys know you can run while crouching as well? I assumed you'd break your crouch and start sprinting, nope.

    Just when you stagger them/break their guard and you get that sound cue. I was using the Bloodborne term so I forgot what they call it here.

    Ah what the hell! NO I did not! I've been avoiding every single area with skeletons waiting to build up a holy weapon

    It's probably my play style. I assume you can crush these bosses if you figure out how to be super aggressive and go for visceral attacks etc.? My first time around so far, I'm just now kind of starting to become more aggressive and less Souls-y in my playstyle. Jumping over attacks, jump attacks, lots of guard counters and so on.

    I personally think their best albums are Feel It Break and Future Politics. The one between those I didn't really care for. Feel It Break is less minimal and a bit more...goth-y if I had to call it anything. Some REALLY great tracks on that one. This track fucking rules:

    I must not be aggressive enough against bosses because even with Bloodhound Sword, which I didn't realize was being used by everyone in here as well when I started using it, I did respectable damage to Godrik but nothing out of the ordinary. I never managed to steamroll him or anything at all. I actually just found the Whip and I think I'm going to level the shit out of that and go for it. It, for once, sounds and looks really nasty. I REALLY want to go full Castlevania. I actually really like that group of noblemen or whatever they're called. I just like the chaos they cause especially in groups. Duh, Ashes... Holy Strike (or whatever yeah) is great and you can perma-kill skeletons with it so I used it to beat the dungeon filled with skeletons. I'm also using the Ash of War on my shield that basically gives you a large parry window. It creates a small storm and deflects arrows and everything else and parries but the window is much bigger.

    Upgrading Endurance increases your Stamina and Equipment Load total. Take a look at the right side of the screen where your Equipment Load is shown and mess with your equipment, you'll see it'll actually say something like HEAVY LOAD/MEDIUM LOAD. Medium Load is a normal roll. But yes, the roll is governed by what percentage of your total Equipment Load you're wearing. So raising the total with Endurance will raise that percentage.

    This is the kind of thing I've mentioned the game heavily reminds me of: It's a scene from the movie Black Sabbath (1963) and this type of lighting and scenery is very heavily featured in one of this anthology's segments called The Wurdulak. That's the kind of 'gothic horror' feel I keep talking about.

    I have all kinds of Somber stones but NOT the +3 I fucking need. I'm finding every other variety but I'm sure I'll run into it soon enough just exploring.

    You don't have to wear a full set of armor. The damage reduction is obviously great and all but if you're fat-rolling and can't get out of the way of a combo string, that's way worse than having a few less HP points taken because you're wearing a helmet. Also invest in Endurance, or whatever it was that governs equip load. You'll thank yourself in the long run. I usually take off the helmet and gloves.

    I have no idea what this band classifies themselves as even but I've been listening to this EP a shitload on Spotify after discovering it on some playlist: Edit: Ah fuck, posting this made me actually google them and apparently they were a duo and one of them just died in 2020.
