    Actually I'm just talking about this weird little gimmick boss in a cave near the that massive Coffin Graveyard area. Kind of North-west of the Grand Lift up on the hill. He's literally invisible and has a grab attack that does 50% of my health bar instantly. Like not "he's in the dark", he's completely invisible. No idea what the trick here is.

    Imagine if he would've actually crash-landed and died in a fiery inferno IN Mexico. That would've been the greatest case of karma's a bitch ever.

    It's basically the worst of all worlds in one boss. His openings are very short for the amount of damage he does, he can stunlock you into a OHKO combo if you're knocked off your horse, unpredictable follow-up strikes after set combos so even going in on openings is often a gamble and then well...we go full OHKO insta-kill with not one but four meteorite summons each able to do said insta-kill. Oh also that obnoxious opening where arrows hitting you or not feels random. Over and over. Just an incredibly obnoxious boss so far. I would have no issue beating him if it wasn't for the cheap-ass meteorite cop-out. I also think he looks stupid on top of it. Wtf is that silly-ass horse!?

    Yea I'm underleveled for Radahn so I let it go for now. I had no issue with the fight outside of the meteors OHKO'd me every time. Full health bar. Got him down to about 30% maybe a three times but every time I ended up getting OHKO'd so...yea I'm out for now. Found the medallion for the lift though so off I go over there, woohoo.

    Wow. What was From thinking with Radahn's second stage attacks? Not even gonna bother with this and move on for now. Already tried about 10 times.

    Okay good so you know how to navigate that treacherous-ass area lol. Yeah, just look for those burnt-out ruin type areas, it's in one of those underground dungeon type rooms below.

    I had a boss fight last night that consisted of two of those metal onion-shaped head guys in a small dungeon room with fire weapons. Brutal. Took me like four tries and I barely scraped by.

    A lot of times they're sleeping in wooded areas and by the time you notice the damn thing it's mauling you. Also I'm playing around in Caelid more seriously right now and good god, some of the beasties there are nasty.

    And the bears are more terrifying than some of the grotesque fuckery they came up with on top of it. Those giant bears scratching on cliffsides and what not horrify me

    Do you have any of the combat talismans for extra guard counter, guard break etc. damage? Those are great.

    This is the first Souls game where I'm actively following quest lines. I'm hanging with Blaidd right now and I love that a 12' tall werewolf is calling me "mate"

    I went into work late this morning because I woke up at like 4AM and could not stop wondering what was past this area I had stopped at last night.

    Well I knew that but somehow it never dawned on me to just shoot it from down the corridor and avoid its antics altogether.

    Shit I just now realized that those fire-bellowing columns in the dungeons can be disabled by shooting an arrow at it.

    Nah you didn't cheat. If they didn't want you to check that area out, they wouldn't have put that warp chest there. Most people in here, or all, did that I think? It's a really great way to induce that 'oh fuck I shouldn't be here' part of exploration that makes coming back later so satisfying.

    Actually, yes. That whole area feels wrong to "invade". It's way too gorgeous.
