  1. I just beat Signalis twice and it's definitely a quick play. My first "take my sweet-ass time" playthrough was like 9 hours but the second one was like Resi 2 style, just run through.
  2. @atom631 I just saw Mercyful Fate live the other day
  3. Was never a big Obituary fan but listening to this, I actually think these new live versions have better sound than the original studio album. I DID always like Chopped In Half, it's so primitive and gory
  4. Started giving this another shot last night considering it's on PS+ and I've had enough distance from the original to cool back down. The combat definitely is as addictive as ever so just based on that, I'm back in. But yeah, there really is zero change in the weak level and encounter design, it's kind of crazy. Either way, I'm digging the formula again after some distance.
  5. I really wish Grandma pie was a more widespread thing. As far as I know it's mainly even a Long Island, NY specific thing, it's even rare in other immediate parts of NYC. It's absolutely my favorite pizza.
  6. Listen. I tried to steer this lunacy into pizza territory so keep that in mind for some brownie point if I ever snap and go on some unhinged, ban-worthy rant at any point
  7. Also obligatory at this point... ALSO HOW ABOUT PINEAPPLE ON PIZZA GUYS AMIRITE LOL SO GROSS Let's talk pizza before this gets even crazier.
  8. Nah. What goes around comes around. The Commisar has gifted me something before so I'd like to return the favor in some capacity.
  9. I had to read that thread title several times to make sure this actually said Kristallnacht. I'm so utterly baffled.
  10. Which to me is still the best PS5 showcase. It looks and sounds fantastic. Edit: On second thought, you're playing Demon's Souls AND Returnal. It's not much but enjoy the PS5 sir
  11. I personally think his Doom soundtracks are abysmal but I sure love to see an unreasonable asshole boss be put in their place. Especially with a "difficult to work with" dropped which is usually bullshit code for "I didn't like them because they had standards".
  12. Okay cool. It's always nice to see people help each other out on here. Just update here if you need a bit more
  13. Do you have what you need? I can definitely throw a bit your way for such a noble cause if not.
  14. @Bacon Whatchu doing? Getting a PS5? I'm not hip to what's going on.
  15. I think the last SNL skits I've ever watched, and my friends shared, were literally from the Chappelle episode. The All State guy or whatever. SNL is one of those shows I used to watch on Comedy Central because the reruns just ran all the time but never actively tuned in. It was just...there.
  16. Yeah man, layering is the way. That way when you inevitably enter a business/cafe/whatever and it's 90 degrees in there because everyone is chain-smoking and the radiators are turned to full heat in typical European fashion, you can cope with it. For me that temp is weather for undershirt, undershirt t-shirt over that, hoodie and light jacket combo. Thick socks and you're good.
  17. If Mel Brooks got into game dev, this is what he'd be up to.
  18. It's VERY good. I have a few gripes with it but man, it's so well done and exactly the game everyone's been crying for in regards to Survival Horror in my opinion. I came to realize one of the things it nails the hardest actually is the whole pathfinding puzzle aspect and how the very limited inventory space and resources create that organically. I found myself falling naturally into that RE1/RE2 rhythm of essentially going on "runs" from the safe room. Empty inventory, load up my offensive items, review the map and come up with a critical path and go clear it. Return to safe room, unload weaponry, go tackle item pickups and puzzles and so on. It does a very good job with that and most things calling themselves Survival Horror miss that crucial element. Also, my gripes kind of dissipate when I remember this entire game was made by two people. If you told me this was some lost PS1 "classic era" game running on an emulator, I'd believe it.
  19. For a while I got into the Hunt: Showdown subreddit and jesus christ, you'd think the game personally came and pissed in each on of their cereals every morning. I mean it absolutely has a ton of issues and bugs but these people go wild. The PC crowd constantly bashing the console version/crowd in general is crazy. It goes unmoderated and it's not even backhanded jokes or anything but straight-up malicious rants lol
  20. But seriously, the one thing I signed up to reddit for actually helped me greatly. There's a sub all about dual citizenship/immigration issues etc. and I'm not sure I would've been able to maneuver my way through that garbage if it wasn't for some really helpful people on there. Besides that, you're absolutely right, looking up anything "local" will make you lose whatever faith in humanity is left.
  21. The Banshees of Inisherin Saw this without knowinf a single thing about it last night. I have no idea what the fuck I watched really but...I loved it anyway? Also one of the most visually gorgeous movies I've seen in a while.
