Yes Forsaken will probably be to D2 what The Taken King was to D1. TTK was very beefy and well worth the $40. The Annual Pass is pre-paying for the 3 expansions Bungie will release in year 2 after Forsaken. They will probably be on par with Curse of Osiris and Warmind in size and scope. Could be better than those but we don't really know.

I’m with Brick in that Sony needs to stop being idiots and allow cross play. I suppose Bungie would have to allow it too, which they probably wouldn’t.

I am going to a day or two of PAX West (Seattle) with my two big kids and Rose City Comic Con (Portland) in September. Also Eugene CC in November. Bucket list cons are Celebration of course (the one after Chicago), Emerald City CC and Gencon.

I started as the Hunter and the dialogue was REALLY off putting. I’m no stranger to ye old English and even thought this was too much. If the other characters aren’t like that then that is promising.

I started the prologue demo and it didn't really grab me. I didn't get very far though so I'll give it a second chance this week.

I think I own all 3. Might have to rewatch 12 and 13. I remember not liking 12 and thinking 13 was too much of a love fest on the guy that died when he didn’t seem that well liked in the previous two films.
