I’ve always felt there were many contributors that expanded games appeal and public awareness. Sports games starting in the late 90s and early 2000s like Madden, NBA Live (then 2K), and FIFA as graphics began to look “real”. The Wii that made gaming “for all ages” and “for the whole family”. Facebook games, which segued into mobile games. Fortnite, not for the players it attracted, but the notoriety of it becoming a job (Streaming, coaching, tournaments).

Oh I forgot about the even less apologetic Pokémon slavery. Neat.

The game is pretty explicit when you’re hitting the point of no return. It’s something you have to do on your ship.

I guess the Walmart deal wasn’t enough to save Unity.

Game has co-op so that’s now on the radar for me and the boys.

Those previews are all over the place. A game this polarizing is not good. Maybe it’s not as bad as everyone hating it, but it’s gonna lead to some very confused consumers. But I wonder if anyone that doesn’t hate it now, just doesn’t hate it yet.

considering the first portal was practically a fan mod project and by all accounts never had more than 10 people working on the game, even after Valve officially adopting it, I don’t see another fan project couldn’t equal or better it. I’d imagine the biggest thing we’d be missing are famous and likely expensive voice talents, if there’s more casts of characters.

Layoffs often target those making the most salary in positions a company can justify trimming. That usually is heavily employees in their 40s and 50s, especially if they’ve been at the company long enough to get multiple promotions, and the white guys who have been thrown more money and promotions by other white guys. middle management being the easiest to eliminate because their responsibilities can be absorbed by people above and below. Whenever I saw a person get promoted from manager to senior manager I cringed. Sure enough, in a year or two they were part of a lay off to “trim the fat”.

I didn’t even think about nausea. Forgot it was even possible. Haven’t felt anything yet. Playing Asgards Wrath is just not what I’m used to where my entire body is like the right analog stick, while the left analog stick moves me forward. The actual right analog stick is for sharper 90 and 180 degree turns.

It’s been pretty neat so far. First VR experience. The hand tracking is pretty neat. Even if there’s no physical feedback Without holding onto the controllers, the optical feedback is enough to make it feel immersive and responsive. It really transforms racing sims too vs a single screen setup. The FOV and perspective shift even changes how the tracks feel to drive on. The sense of speed doesn’t feel that much greater, but Le Mans circ de la Sarthe for example feels like a shorter track in VR. lol based on my lap times I can tell it is not shorter though. I played just a bit of Asgard’s Wrath II. Just moving around is taking a bit to get used to.

Daredevil has been in the MCU twice. In the last Spider-Man and in She-Hulk. Why would they start him over?

Depends on how long the list is. It won’t be anywhere near 9/11 on that list though. if Donald is convicted on any of the election tampering charges the entire post election period leading up to Biden’s inauguration will likely end up getting lumped together. Like Watergate and Nixon’s impeachment and resignation. It will be what Donald’s presidency will be remembered for, more than any policy or him stacking the Supreme Court. Time will tell if the fallout will have any reaching or lasting impact, but I doubt it.

down side the actors that play Odo and Nog are no longer with us. I wish we got a DS9 movie in the early to mid 2000s.

I hope it’s not another TNG movie. I mean how many times are we gonna get a curtain call for this crew? lol Id be ok if he was involved in a larger Star Trek movie not about him or the rest of the TNG cast. Not unlike Kirk and the rest of Those Old Scientists in ST Generations.

yeah I was gonna try it stick first and if it wasn’t comfortable look at another strap. Maybe one with a supplemental battery to have longer play sessions.
