The Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue aka Let Sleeping Corpses Lie An interesting take on the Zombie genre released prior to Dawn Of The Dead and after NOTLD. Romero's trilogy always used that claustrophobic feel in its settings and decay of not just the dead but of society as well. This film takes place in the beautiful and lush English country side, the film feels almost ethereal compared to Romero's. It uses just a handful of zombies that are extremely strong compared to dozens or hundred weak ones. A big complaint from me is that the film just takes a bit too long to get moving. The soundtrack and sound effects are top notch and the gore and half bad either. 6.5/10 Trailer is NSFW

You need to look at the total weight spec and how many different degrees of angle you need. If you are just doing run of the mill dumbbell/body exercises and assuming your weight is 200 or less , you want something rated for 500 to 600 pounds. I would start off with something like this https://www.amazon.com/Multi-Purpose-Adjustable-Utility-Bench/dp/B07KK5RFM8/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1YIZ4PZFJ92JB&keywords=cap%2Bweight%2Bbench&qid=1656862212&s=sporting-goods&sprefix=cap%2B%2Csporting%2C77&sr=1-5&th=1

If you have a hobby, how seriously do you take it?
SimpleG replied to gamer.tv's topic in The Shower
Ego is a lot of it. My last job was very testosterone heavy and being bigger and stronger then guys half my age(I am in my 40's) was nice. Lots folks also see Asian men as weak and I guess this is my reaction to that in a sense. -

My big 3 are in order of importance Lifting: Everything else in the world gets put on hold on my lift days. I take a rest week about 8-12 weeks for a full week. Games: Mostly competitive , Strive or Tekken and a whole lot of MTGA Films: This one has been my least active, often times #2 gets in the way. I try to set aside 2-3 nights a month for something I haven't seen. -

My daughter was raised on good old fashioned wholesome shows like The Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy, Courage The Cowardly Dog and Fosters. She also must have watched Scooby Do on Zombie island like maybe a thousand times. Also I know this makes me sound like a terrible parent but one of my fondest memories is me coming home at like 2 am on a Saturday Morning still high as kite, turning the TV on and its on Cartoon Network and playing Billy & Mandy. My daughter wakes up and we proceed to watch cartoons laughing our ass off for the next 2 hours until my wife wakes up and catches us.

Miami Vice A film I have avoided, growing up watching the show I always assumed this was some terrible idea to sell as 80's nostalgia. It shares the basic gist of the show but its own beast. The entire film feels like it gives no fucks about the audience, there is no explanation and no backstory. The audience is dropped in the middle of a scene as if the first 10 minutes of the movie are missing. The dialog can be hard to hear and filled with jargon that you likely dont know. Mann drenches the film in Noir and locations feel lived in and real. One thing I cant explain is how the film makes the audience feel like they are just on the out skirts of each scene, it makes it seem almost shallow but its not. There is also no levity through humor that seems to be popular, I am really over that in movies right now. My only 2 complaints are the love story that seems a bit cheesy and the fact this film was an early digital film so there is a lot of noise that can be distracting. 8.5/10

Movies What are your favorite vampire movies?
SimpleG replied to Fizzzzle's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
Only Lovers Left Alive - Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston play a vampire couple reunited. Its a Jarmusch film so its off kilter and not a typical vampire film. Shadow Of The Vampire - A meta horror take on the making of Nosferatu Lemora- 1973 vampire film about a 13 year old girl taken in by an older female vampire, it can be uncomfortable to watch Valerie And Her Week Of Wonders- Surrealist film about a young girls first steps to adulthood and the Men and Women who want to take advantage of her. -

I have heard the gameplay is very Zen but if I continue to get 40 mins of cut scenes followed by 10 mins of gameplay then I am out.

So I downloaded this for free from the new PS+ service, its a game I have been interested in for awhile. So far the overall idea of the story is interesting but dear fucking lord in the first 3 hours I have maybe 10 mins of actual gameplay. On top of that the names of characters and outfits they wear and the dialog feel so damn corny. Does this game ever get going and does it ever get better or I am wasting my time?
