    My processor is bottlenecking me as well. I could just replace both, I suppose but I’m also having issues with what appears to be my usb 3.0 ports not keeping a stable connection and I’m worried the mb and other parts will start failing before long.

    My current pc can do 4K @ 30 with my nvidia 1080. It’s just getting old.

    I want to be able to play pretty much everything in 4k/60fps. Maybe I'll have to wait a bit though as 2k is a bit much for this tax return season.

    I want to spend around $1,000.00, maybe like $1,300.00 at most. I plan to use it heavily for VR, and would like it to play AAA games at 4k/60fps, etc. I've been out of the loop on which brands, etc. are the best or most popular lately. Any thoughts?

    I started getting acid reflux (heartburn but more toward the throat area) in my mid-to-late teens. It got worse and worse until about 10 years ago I went in and had an endoscopy where they discovered I had a condition called sliding hiatal hernia. It's a hernia in/near the esophagus. I've had a surgery on it once already, but it relaxed too much over time and now I need to get it again.     Can't remember preop but post op was (iirc) 1 week liquid diet, minimum 2 months pureed diet. The surgery involves them tightening the esophageal muscle so you literally can't get anything down that isn't pureed.

    I had one but it was an esophageal hernia surgery so totally different.

    Needs like a dozen+ more dungeons and puzzle key utility items like any other good Zelda game imo. I liked BOTW, but it could be so much better.

    I dumped a lot of hours into it and am pretty disappointed with it. Endgame is really repetitive grinding in very few places for gear that's nearly impossible to get because of low legendary drop rates and too many layers of RNG (too many inscriptions, with too much variability). I can play for 8 hours straight and not see a single upgrade and I'm still far from having optimal gear on any of my javs.

    I'm normally not too into Asians for some reason. Pale redheads have always been my biggest weakness. Not sure why I fell so hard for my wife.

    Cool. I finally got a 4k tv and was thinking about upgrading to the Xbox One X for 4k support but it's a bit much. I got the PS4 pro instead since Gamestop gave me 200$ for my old one but if this was as good as the X, I'd prob spring for it at that price.

    Yeah, BW also recently dropped support for Andromeda and the way that unraveled was very similar to what we're seeing with Anthem now.

    It needs to be reworked from the ground up I think. Seems the code is so convoluted they can't even make small changes without breaking a bunch of other things. The damage scaling of weapons decorrelates weapon damage numbers from the actual life bars of enemies so the numbers (and inscriptions on items/weapons) are basically super convoluted lies. Gameplay is super fun but there is so much broken in the game, I don't know if there's enough incentive there to justify them fixing it (since they already have our money and can't get more of it). I strongly suspect they'll drop support for the game soon.

    They cancelled the live stream about a half hour before it was due to start claiming that their fiber was cut. It's postponed an entire week. Pretty sad what's happened to this once promising game.

    I finished Ready Player One and loved it so much I was looking for books like it and I happened across this genre that seems tailor made for gamers. It's basically books about normal people living in RPG games. The one I'm reading now is like a 9 book long series and the first one is about a guy who plays an MMO everyday and one day gets teleported into a real-life version of it. Like he has a UI he can control with his mind and stats and all the clothing, equipment and food/drink has unique stats on it. The people he meets give him quests that are tracked in his UI. It's hard to describe exactly why but I'm having a total blast reading (or rather listening to the audiobook) it. The series I'm on is called Chaos Seeds btw.

    Do the double edge razors work really well? I've been using some like 4 blade razor and I'm pretty sick of the hair clogging the blades and not coming out. Thinking about switching to an actual razor blade razor.
