  1. Given that Apple is charging 3500$ for the headset with all the features everyone wants, I'm guessing Meta/Facebook is already selling this at a loss or nearly a loss.
  2. Yep, pretty stoked about both though I don't usually play action games that much because of limited space in VR. Maybe it'll be more playable in MR.
  3. It's one of those things where a question feels original and creative to the person asking it but it feels that way to almost everyone so they all do it and if you're on the other side of it, you have to experience it over and over and over. Sort of like when you're working retail and something doesn't scan, they always think they're super clever and funny by asking if that means it's free. Just a dumb joke at first but then after you've courtesy laughed to it like a million times you just want to tear their fucking heads off.
  4. Let me know if you're ever up in Washington.
  5. Yeah using the diopter adjustment on all of these glasses will blur the edges. I think that's currently a limit of the tech since your eyes are moving but the lens is static. When I want a really good visual experience I just wear contacts with them and then it's all totally clear.
  6. I'd look up the Rokid Max first. It's the same price but better specs and better build quality imo. Both Stepee and I have used both sets. The arms of the Xreal Air snapped off for me from normal use but I've had the Rokids for a while now and they're still perfect. The Rokids are also capable of 120hz (though I almost never use it). There's a thread here where we talked about them a bunch. If you search the terms you'll find it. I'll just add that I use them every day and they might be my all-time favorite electronic gadget. I mostly use them to watch tv/movies and play games in bed. I actually haven't used my 72" 4k tv in my living room for games in several months because of them. I moved my whole PS5 into my bedroom where there is no TV so I could plug these into it and play it in bed.
  7. Aside from echoing SFLU's advice that you continue engaging in therapy, I'd just suggest you be aware of the fact that there's a significant amount of space between conservatism and some of the near-consensus political views on this board. I'm a left-wing liberal, for instance, and I find many of the views supported by people here to be pretty absurd.
  8. I haven't played in ages. Might jump back in soon. I kind of like their new game too but I can't seem to get motivated to play it much for whatever reason.
  9. Even if you're super interested in the prospect of aliens existing, watching these hearings will probably be a waste of time for you. If enough evidence comes out of these hearings to actually substantiate the proposition that aliens exist and have visited us and/or are in our custody, it will be completely unavoidable news. You won't be able to avoid being made fully aware of it unless you live in a completely secluded box. Testimony and eyewitness accounts, especially of the output of monitoring equipment is not sufficient evidence. The burden of such evidence for alien life visiting earth is far greater than testimony and eyewitness accounts can overcome on its own. The prior probability that they're mistaken, dishonest, etc. is MUCH higher than the prior probability that aliens exist and have visited us and/or are in our custody. A general rule: a lot of bad evidence doesn't equal even a little bit of good evidence. In fact, a lot of bad evidence is *expected* for many propositions in hypothetical worlds where those propositions are false.
  10. I hope this means we can finally have real hoverboards.
  11. Yeah I agree. I'd love to have it but it's *way* too expensive to justify.
  12. Dex is pretty amazing and I love my gs21. Are you planning to get the Apple XR device though? The iphone might be uniquely supported by it.
  13. That's awesome to hear! Also, try removing the nose guard completely. It's very comfortable without it lines up perfect for me. I think the blury edges are only a thing when people use the myopia adjustment. From what I gather, it's caused by a natural aspect of lense correction and the edges are always blurry. We just don't notice it with glasses because we move our head to see things instead of our eyes.
  14. Have you tried potato bread? That's my favorite even without diet restrictions. Maybe it'd have fewer of the typical bread ingredients.
  15. This might be more difficult for stepee since from what I gather, very few women could even fit it in their mouths.
  16. I think the problem is that getting your dick sucked just doesn't feel all that amazing in terms of raw physical interaction (sex feels much better imo) and most of the experience is the aesthetics and the experience of knowing that someone else is sucking it.
  17. Maybe not that surprising but Din Tai Fung is the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. It's a bit too expensive though.
  18. Shazam was fun imo. The first one was surprisingly great and the second one was .. fun and forgettable but I'm happy I watched it. I don't know if I'll ever watch The Flash.
  19. Happy you finally got it. I exclusively use them with the nose guard completely removed but I think I'm going to add a pad to the front of the glasses to keep the venting a millimeter or so from my forehead. Hoping that will give me the right distance to where I can see the full screen comfortably.
  20. I'm also finally binging Mushoku Tensei after putting it off for a while and it's pretty good imo, but like every few episodes or so, the MC suddenly does or says something shockingly and unforgivably creepy and disgusting. I get that Japan is has a different culture but holy fuck.
  21. Rurouni Kenshin remake was pretty fun. Seems promising. The vending machine one jumped the hell out of the isekai shark but was surprisingly entertaining for what it is.
  22. I stay up to date on basically all the Isekais and a few of the others. The last few seasons on CR have been pretty amazing imo.
  23. Other wireless adapters? I don't think so. I think you'd have to pay a lot to get it without latency if it's even possible. Would wait until the wireless tech is better. I imagine the glasses themselves are a couple iterations from being fully wireless.
