  1. I don't think there's a solution that makes everyone happy. You take the dwarves out of Snow White, it's sort of a different story right? You leave them in, you get a whole other generation of kids with dwarfism being made fun of in school. The best solution is for Disney to stop making these terrible live action remakes.
  2. Man if 2022 took Arnold as well, I'd want a do-over. I don't care if it's December. (please don't be prophetic)
  3. Yeah for some reason I thought he died YEARS ago.
  4. TBF I was thinking about Minecraft but I see your point that the platform agnostic strategy hasn't happened yet.
  5. If Bobby Kotick is fired following a change of control over the company, he walks away with $300 million.
  6. This move isn't about exclusivity. They'd be NUTS to do that. Shareholders would be furious. This move is about transitioning Microsoft's game business towards being completely platform agnostic. Profit off games no matter where they're released. It runs tangent to their long-term strategy of turning games into a service.
  7. I know I had some bad gas last night but I didn't think anybody was recording.
  8. They added the VelociCoaster. Many have told me it's their favorite rollercoaster they've ever been on. I don't ride coasters so I can't say.
  9. I think also as runaway inflation continues, what was once acceptable pay is quickly not being acceptable. Raises and especially minimum wage were already completely disconnected from living expense and reality, and now this is coming to bear on employers.
  10. Tuskens take control of the criminal underworld. Boba rides off into the sunset having wasted every viewer's time.
  11. It's pretty laughable they feel the need to remake this. As if the original needs to be improved somehow. It also came out in 2011, so it's not even old.
  12. Man. America's Funniest Home videos will always be my favorite thing he did. So many great memories watching that with the family in the 90s. I'd love to watch those old episodes again. EDIT: Well that was easy.
  13. For sure, it could have been an interesting story. Unfortunately the entire story is like a two minute post-credit scene of him (or rather, I think it was Fennec) shooting the current guy in charge. I didn't find that to be a compelling premise for a new show then, and so far I still don't.
  14. Yeah. One of the points brought up in the podcast that resonated with me is this idea of Boba "ruling with respect". I don't claim to have read all materials about the character, but he was a ruthless bounty hunter hired by Vader to capture Han Solo, and Vader had to specify "no disintegrations". Now Boba is being "hero-ized" I guess because... fans like him? And the problem they're setting up in this first episode is how can Boba rule the criminal underworld of Tatooine when he's too nice?
  15. Guess I was the only one that thought this debut episode was kind of... bad? It felt more low-budget than any Mandalorian episode I can recall, and the action choreography was like something out of a stage play.
  16. I was thinking it would be cool to see Dark Strange in live action at some point after watching What If. Didn't expect it to be THIS soon!
  17. And Laurence Fishburne. That's right I'm still beating that drum! But also everything can potentially be made better with Laurence Fishburne. Being wowed by special effects is unfortunately one of the many joys that died with our childhoods. Not that we were all children when The Matrix came out... Alright better said, it's one of those nostalgic pieces of the past that we want to have back, and keep hoping to feel again, but now that literally anything is possible in film, it never will.
