  1. "THEY ONLY KILL PEOPLE BECAUSE YOU CALL THEM TERRORISTS" Anyway, won't be as good without the Russo brothers but that doesn't mean it has to suck.
  2. another IGNer friend had it saved
  3. Oh my god! Yeah buddy you better be lawyering-up ASAP!
  4. No, you're underestimating what a bitchstorm the right will make about this. This is an issue they don't even have to make up.
  5. Politically, this is significant. Biden effectively just lost the Democrats seats in the House and Senate. He lost us the 2024 General Election. The right will be talking about this moment nonstop for the next 20+ years.
  6. I don't even know that the withdrawal is where we failed, if the country we're leaving just folds like a house of cards the minute it's left on its own. The fact that for the last 20 years we couldn't help them establish a functional government seems like the most striking failure.
  7. Well, in this case it was circumstantial. The title of the episode could have just as easily been "What if Agent Carter stayed in the room when Steve Rogers underwent Project Rebirth?" But that's a bit too long and not as catchy. But none of the other episodes coming up are random gender or ethnic swaps either. They're all swaps with different characters that we know, who may or may not have different physical characteristics. And according to a review I read, the third episode deals with an assassin hunting the Avengers before they have a chance to come together (or something like that).
  8. I was looking through a list on Wikipedia of the What If issues and a LOT of them are "what if so-and-so had gotten these powers instead?" So I don't think this first episode is inconsistent with the series.
  9. I missed that Norway exchange somehow, but yeah I agree with everything you said. It was fun, but a little on the verge of being too campy at times.
  10. The Suicide Squad (2021) WWW.ROTTENTOMATOES.COM Welcome to hell--a.k.a. Belle Reve, the prison with the highest mortality rate in the US of A. Where the worst Super-Villains are kept and where they will do anything to get out--even join the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X. Today's do-or-die assignment? Assemble a collection of cons, including Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin and everyone's... wow this is one of the best-rated DC films ever :O
  11. I wouldn't say they did. There's no actual evidence they bought the trademark or have even started the process. And according to internet sleuths Jansen Productions isn't even a registered business in San Fran.
  12. It's literally just a quick cash in on the name. They're gonna be label slapping it on a bunch of crap.
  13. That's not the background of a person I think should be making a TMNT movie. Yes there's always been comedic elements but that's not necessarily the heart of the story. If this were another sequel to Hangover, sure.
  14. Reading further into the article about who these people are, and...
  15. I've been reading some discussion since this came about. Apparently 3DFX is not currently registered as a US trademark. Meaning anyone could take the name and do whatever with it. And....anyone is. Here's another pretender doing something of some sort. They're just popping up like daisies!
  16. The image being used in the tweet is apparently fanart made in 2014. There is basically 0% chance this is official in any legal sense. At best it's going to be a fan reproduction card or something, which there have been a number of in recent years.
  17. The weird thing is even if someone wanted to come back and revive the name, they really couldn't. So I don't know wtf this is.
  18. Well I watched a couple episodes of this, and....not a fan. The Beast Wars characters look like they should, but almost all their personalities have been completely changed to fit the new story. I'm also not a fan of their choice of voice characterization. This probably wouldn't be as apparent if I didn't just recently rewatch the first two seasons of the old Beast Wars show all the way through. Optimus Primal is a temperamental angsty grump. Tigertron is now a restless aggressive fighter. Rex Megatron has a higher pitched voice that's played to be far more subservient and less authoritative and cunning. There's bits and pieces still there, like Rhinox being highly intelligent and tech savvy, and Dinobot wanting to leave the Predacons (though they stripped him of his massive pride and ego, which was a big part of his character). It's all done to fit the revised narrative (it's an alternate universe, apparently), so you could argue these aren't the same Beast Wars characters exactly but I can't imagine the old fans of the 90s show being all THAT pleased.
