I watched Unorthodox, a Netflix miniseries (4 episodes, about 1 hour each) about a woman who escapes her arranged marriage and Hasidic community in New York and flees to Berlin. An excellent story about making your own way, the importance of connection, the goodness of people, and more, all without being preachy or condemning religion very harshly. As a bonus, it was also fun for me to hear both Yiddish and German.
