    I recently moved, and in an effort to reduce clutter I was thinking I might just toss my old monitor stands that were included with the monitors. I'd been hanging on to them on the off chance that I ever needed to go back to them, but I can't imagine why I would, especially considering how much I love the monitor arms. The only thing I could think of was that maybe if I upgraded down the line and wanted to sell the current monitors, someone may want the original stands. So my question: Has anyone here ever gone back to using the default stands after having monitor arms? Any other reason(s) anyone can think of to keep them?

    This made me think of another red flag, though I know it's not what you're talking about here. If the person says that all of their exes are crazy or assholes, it's usually just a matter of time until you're another crazy asshole in their past.

    I got that, but thank you for clarifying. I was just wondering if sbl was making some assumptions about what thewhyteboar was saying and it sounds like he is, but maybe they're accurate assumptions based on sbl's previous interactions with him, presumably on the CEB. Taken in a vacuum, sbl's reaction seemed a bit confrontational to me so I was wondering if I'd missed something (e.g. an edit). It could also be some tone getting lost in text and me interpreting it as more confrontational than it was intended to be. With this post, it makes more sense; it sounds like you know thewhyteboar's politics better than I do.

    It is seriously tempting to just go for it now though, especially with what you all are saying about waiting to upgrade your TV potentially being an everlasting game. For example, it looks like it took the G2 a year to get to $2200, and it started at $3200. So one year (March 2022 until June 2023) for $1000... Would I get $1000 worth of enjoyment out of the G3 in the next year before it's $1000 cheaper? That's only $1000/365 days = $2.74 per day. From everything I've read/seen about the TV and how much I expect to be blown away, I think I would, and that's not even the price of one avocado toast per day! Yes, I'm justifying it to myself hard.
