  1. Retailers don't make any margin on the hardware. They only agree to sell it, so that they can sell accessories and software.
  2. Sony/MS/Nintendo still need the stores to sell there hardware -- and stores still sell the majority of games. It's hard to gift a digital game (which believe it or not still represents a huge amount of games sales).
  3. Resting starters just makes sense. The games don't mean anything, so there is no reason to try and win. This is why I don't watch pre-season football.
  4. I agree that it has some different gameplay mechanics -- the teleporting, and having primarily melee combat. But, to me, it still feels like Hotline Miami was their primary inspiration. That said, I am enjoying it quite a bit, probably about 80% of the way through. However, I just wish the hired a better writer (the dialog is cringe worthy), hired some voice actors, and spent more time polishing it (difficulty spikes, crashes to desktop, etc.)
  5. I played a good chunk of Mr. Shifty. I would say it was pretty good, if you're coming in expecting a poor man's Miami Hotline.
  6. I must have missed where CD Project Red used gay slurs, and insulted the Quran.
  7. I think it is a good beer to enjoy on a hot summer's evening, while sitting on a patio. I would definitely order again. My two year old liked the maraschino cherries they added to the glass.
  8. The usage of "offensive" has dramatically changed for millennials. It used to refer to something that was repugnant. It's now bandied about anytime they mildly disagree with anything that is said.
  9. Planning on playing Wolfenstein 2 -- maybe some Mr. Shift. I ran a Cat 6 cable from my office to my family room -- glad to not use Wi-Fi for my consoles/Fire Cube anymore...
  10. What a poorly written article. I don't think you can write something like this until we have benchmarks.
  11. I won't be playing most of the games ever created (other than Wolfenstein 2, and perhaps Mr. Shifty.)
  12. Are people buying GTAV for the game, or just to get in game currency? I thought I read somewhere that re-buying the game was the cheapest way to get currency.
  13. I miss out on some points, but I think I average ~8k per month.
