It took me forever to buy/play but I’m loving the hell out of Portal on my deck right now.

Yeah I saw the Patrick Brown thing this morning as well. They are going to alienate a lot of people and Brown I think would of been the candidate to take away some of the foreign/ethnic voters. Brampton is pretty diverse in its population but I would say that it has a pretty huge Pakistani/Indian/Asian population. So the party seems like they wanna alienate them and just reach out to their far far far right “coup willing” crowd instead. Trudeau I think/hope will be smart enough to let the reigns be taken over by someone else before the next election happens, and keep the conservatives out of reach of power for years to come.

I admit my buying hasn’t been huge but I did have to spend the little extra money on the steelbook for Secrets of Dumbledore 4K, to complete my steelbook series. I have all the Harry Potter films in steelbooks, but really wish this last film was given a 3D release like the first 2. I still haven’t seen the 2nd but I have seen the first movie a couple times, opening of the 2nd film once or twice on my 3D setup and are fucking incredible to watch. Also picked up based on word of mouth, Everything Everywhere All At Once 4K Buddy is coming over tonight for a wings night to celebrate my 40th Bday (yesterday) and will hopefully be able to talk him into watching it tonight

I liked what I saw, and already looks more cohesive compare to the Jay and Silent Bob Reboot movie. It had moments but wasn’t nearly the sharp satirical whit I wanted. I will happily see this though, but maybe not in theatre but who knows.

I have never played Half Life 1/2 or owned anything from Valve but HL: Alyx. Anyways I went ahead and bought The Valve Complete Collection for roughly $16Cnd (after taxes) Portal and Half Life 2 are downloading to my Steam Deck as I type

Man are they out to fuck everyone and anyone with their rulings. My cousin’s wife has MS and they now reside in Austin, TX. I’m afraid that she might sadly fall into this situation herself with their antiabortion laws. Hopefully her Canadian citizenship will allow her to at least get her meds sent from Canada. Currently renting a home up here for another week or 2, but wonder if they’ll stock up on some of her meds and send them ahead of their trip back home.

Batgirl and Blue Beetle are/were scheduled this way, but execs are maybe rethinking that plan and trying theatre first.

I liked the Infamous series, but they did tend to get less exciting with every release. Although I wanna say I agree with @Brickin that I would like to see a final game to wrap up Cole’s story that still felt unfinished. The third game I think was more showcase of HDR then gameplay. Have yet to play a Sly Cooper game
